MECHANICSVILLE, Va. — The dark blue captain’s hat, with its golden oak-
leaf clusters, sits atop a bookcase in Bryan Lawlor’s home, out of
reach of the children. The uniform their father wears still displays
the four stripes of a commercial airline captain, but the hat stays
home. The rules forbid that extra display of authority, now that Mr.
Lawlor has been downgraded to first officer.

Dog Warden Advisory Panel

Eleven people have been named to the newly formed Dog Warden Advisory Panel, The Blade calls for a new dog warden and it appears that Ben Konop may have stepped into a small animal trap when he chose to question and possibly criticize the actions of dog killer 'Baby Doc' Skeldon and the Lucas county Tonton Macoute. Don't be too quick to chew your leg off, Ben. I think you'll find some help from the voters in Lucas county on this one.

Kasich Announces 88 County Leadership Team

Jon Stainbrook is not the local leader. One wonders if his calling people and threatening the Blade or other things on them has given him a radioactive reputation around the State. For someone who said he was the top call center in the area, one wonders why he was snubbed.

Poor Behavior

During the last months of this election, I personally have been disappointed in the way that individuals in the Republican party have presented themselves and their personal beliefs.
