Teamwork Toledo will kick off a city-wide summertime listening tour with a public forum on crime concerns on Wednesday, May 27, 7 p.m. at the Zablocki Senior Center. All six city council candidates who represent Teamwork Toledo will be in attendance.
This is a great way for you to help us to raise funds for the Bishop's
Annual Appeal that supports local outreach programs - like the service
project that two of our teenagers do in Appalachia and the free
community dinners we help with at St Mark's. You must present one of
these flyers for us to receive credit for your purchase.

Toledo Choose Local, a non-profit that supports locally-owned independent businesses, is
empowering Toledo area residents to take our economic condition in our own hands. Consumers
will have the opportunity to make a commitment of spending their money at only locally-owned
Congressman Bob Latta (R- Bowling Green) will hold a media availability
during his visit to Pro-Tec in Leipsic on Monday, June 1st.
Congressman Latta will meet with Pro-Tec management and employees to
discuss Cap and Trade legislation that is currently being debated in
Congress.

Teamwork Toledo will be at Dave’s Home-Cooked Foods on Saturday morning, June 6, 2009 with their city council candidacy petitions for any registered voter in Toledo who’s interested in signing them to ensure all coalition members make the ballot.
The 9 Is Fine campaign heading into the final stretch this weekend. Petition circulators will be at the OWE festival, Point Place parade and OLPH festival Friday through Sunday. On Sunday, Tom Waniewski will be manning a table at center court at Westfield Mall from 11:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. seeking signatures for the petition. He will be joined by Lindsay Webb at approximately 4:00 p.m. The reception in the community has been great so far. Toledo, OH – It is time for the community to rally together and silence the violence that continues to happen in our city. Since the police layoffs occurred, there have been shootings, robberies...even the elderly have been targeted.
On Friday, June 12th a coalition of Lucas County Republican Clubs will be hosting its first charitable dinner at Holland Gardens, 6530 Angola Road, Holland, Ohio 43528.
The Lucas County Republican Clubs Charitable Dinner will welcome special guests Jon Husted (invited) and Dave Yost. The dinner, whose proceeds will benefit the Toledo Seagate Food Bank will begin with a Directors’ Reception at 5:31 P.M., followed by a social hour, and dinner at 7:00 P.M.
Admission to the event is $30 per person, and $50 per couple.
