Teamwork Toledo will kick off a city-wide summertime listening tour with a public forum on crime concerns on Wednesday, May 27, 7 p.m. at the Zablocki Senior Center. All six city council candidates who represent Teamwork Toledo will be in attendance.

The 9 Is Fine campaign heading into the final stretch this weekend. Petition circulators will be at the OWE festival, Point Place parade and OLPH festival Friday through Sunday. On Sunday, Tom Waniewski will be manning a table at center court at Westfield Mall from 11:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. seeking signatures for the petition. He will be joined by Lindsay Webb at approximately 4:00 p.m. The reception in the community has been great so far. The Lucas County Republican Clubs Charitable Dinner will welcome special guests Jon Husted (invited) and Dave Yost. The dinner, whose proceeds will benefit the Toledo Seagate Food Bank will begin with a Directors’ Reception at 5:31 P.M., followed by a social hour, and dinner at 7:00 P.M.
