The National Association of Railroad Passengers (NARP) and Amtrak are
hosting these nation-wide day-long events to celebrate National Train
Day which commemorates the completion of the first transcontinental

Michael Watson will declare his candidacy for an at-large seat on Toledo City Council on Thursday\, May 7\, 9\:30 am outside One Government Center. Michael will run as an independent. Following his announcement\, Michael will proceed to the Lucas County Board of Elections office on the third floor to take out petitions.
Michael is a father of four and a long-time resident of Toledo. The 44-year old has been a local truck driver for the past 19 years. He recently was a keynote speaker at the Toledo Tax Day Tea Party.
