Preliminary designs for Toledo’s new downtown sports arena boast an oval-shaped building with an entirely glass entryway facing the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Huron Street.
Lining the building along those same streets, the plan proposes a plaza with grass, hedges, and trees, which will provide a walking area for downtown visitors and arena patrons.

Do you honestly think that they will listen seriously to any opinion John Q Public states about the arena?
Arena PowerPoint presentation
not, the design is already a done deal.
This is just a dog and pony show for those stupid enough to believe that their input is desired, like THAT would change anything...
If our thoughts and ideas were ever to be seriously considered, they would have been solicited them BEFORE the design was drawn up, not after.

Wrong. Its' good on their part to come up with a concept for which the community can pick and choose, add, edit, delete to that concept. Otherwise, then you have a large community voicing many, many ideas and you run into scope creep. Scope creep leads to cost overruns and more money on you, the taxpayer.
