With the most recent uproar about the Marines and the passion of the Mayor and the suspension of a staff member, administration members not sure of this or that and communication errors facing us, the question, I pose,
Is the administration able to restore confidence and guide us through the difficult times we face.
It assumes we had any confidence in them in the first place.

What are the options? Can the mayor be removed from office? After all, cleaning house on the 22nd floor would have to start with Carty.

I can list 4 new housing subdivisions that are being built in Bedford right now.
In the last few years, Monroe County has gained over 10000 people.
Of the 20 or so houses on my street, 5 of the homes sold to ex-Toledoans in the past year!
As YOUR housing prices plummet, MINE have gone up about 15% since King Carty has been in office.
PLEASE keep Carty mayor. Every time he helps flush Toledo down the bowl, he helps Michigan!

I think Carty hasn't necessarily done anything that does require removal from office. However the politics in this city don't follow conventional wisdom. We already removed a Council president for no reason in particular.
I think this recent case shows us that we really should try to get a movement to change the rules for who can enter the general election for mayor. Too many times it seems there's either no good candidates or too many who split each other's votes that the truly stupid get a bye into the general election.
