In May 2009, Forbes ranked Toledo as the worst job market among mid-sized cities, citing massive industry decline in the past decade. However, the plight of our community is not isolated; Cleveland, Dayton and Youngstown make the list for worst job markets in the nation, and businesses continue to hemorrhage from our borders. National Cash Register abandoned Dayton over the summer, and this month American Greetings announced plans to possibly relocate from its Brooklyn headquarters.
Lessons learned: Why KIA Cars and Chinese Appliances and the merchants that sell them hurt the Toledo Economy.
Why Free Trade Is Failing America
http://www.axcessnews.com/index.php/articles/show/id/19214
By Peter Morici
(AXcess News) Baltimore, MD - No economic policy could better serve Americans than genuine free trade but open trade policies are failing Americans.
Free trade is a compelling idea. Let each nation do more of what it does best, and specialization will raise productivity and incomes.

Latta on the passage of National Military Family Month resolution
WASHINGTON- Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) made the following statement after House Resolution 861, which supports the objectives and values associated with National Military Family Month, passed the House of Representatives.
“The families of military personnel understand the sacrifices of commitment to America’s interests through service in our armed forces. It is in challenging moments as we face today that we truly rely on the dedication of America’s military families.”
In House, Many Spoke With One Voice: Lobbyists’
Just sickening. When Congress speaks, they are literally using the works of Corporate America.
"In the official record of the historic House debate on overhauling health care, the speeches of many lawmakers echo with similarities. Often, that was no accident.
Statements by more than a dozen lawmakers were ghostwritten, in whole or in part, by Washington lobbyists working for Genentech, one of the world’s largest biotechnology companies." (continued)

Poverty in America
I sent the following E-mail to Fred at WSPD.
"Magna Toledo expansion: The jobs will pay an average of $13.46 an hour for assembly workers and $19.46 an hour for skilled-trades workers, city officials said.
WOW! How many families will be able to support their families on that wage? Those jobs will pay no taxes to support your Toledo government."

Head Of NFL Players Union Writes Email Opposing Rush Limbaugh's Attempt To Buy Rams
This union guy doesn't like Limbaugh-
"sport in America is at its best when it unifies, gives all of us reason to cheer, and when it transcends. Our sport does exactly that when it overcomes division and rejects discrimination and hatred."

President condemns jihadi recruiting in Minnesota
These young men leaving America to fight against us is so tragic. And you can't blame Bush any more.
Finally, a strong condemnation of jihadi recruits targeting Muslim youths in Minnesota from the president. No, not the president of the United States.
The president of Somalia:
The president of Somalia on Sunday denounced the recruiting of young men from Minnesota’s huge Somali community for terrorist activity in his war-ravaged homeland, and said he plans to work with the U.S. government to bring those still alive back home.

Barak Houssain Obama shows he has his priorities straight. Today on Yahoo....
On Yahoo today. The "Top Stories" show what Barry Obamas priorities really are. While the unemployment rate in America approaches 10%, all Barak Sotero worries about is if Chicago gets to host the Olympic Games. What a pathetic excuse for a "president".

Military coup against Obama?
This article was posted on Newsmax by author John L. Perry. He suggests our military should "resolve the Obama problem." The article has since been removed from the website. Here is the full text:
Obama Risks a Domestic Military Intervention
There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America's military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the "Obama problem." Don't dismiss it as unrealistic.
Barak Obama The Dictator
In the last week...Barak Obama has snubbed our Allies Israel, UK and Poland. Has made nice with the Russians and whack jobs at the G20 Summit. Has stated that America is no different than any other nation and suggested that we drop the dollar and move to a global currency. What a worthless piece of crap!! Worst president ever!! And now, link on the article/video below to see how public schools are teaching kids to sing obama's praises.

Who Is The Spokesperson Of Liberal America?
What I'd like to know is-who is the left wing nuts' spokesperson? The names: Rush, Glen, and Levin are constantly spoken of as conservative leaders. Why is it nobody ever mentions "so and so" is the leader of left wing America? What liberal has a substantial following like these three do? You can't compare them to politicians, since politicians get free air time. So, who IS the voice of liberal America???
