Congrats to the Toledo Young Republican Club for winning the William B. Saxbe Award for Outstanding Political Involvement at the recent Ohio Young Republican Annual State Convention in Concord Township, Ohio (Near Cleveland) this last Weekend April 27-29, 2007.

But, are they CONSERVATIVES? Or are they just more budding RHINOS? I don't want more Bloombergs, Huckabees, McCains, Rudys,Romneys,Tafts, and DeWines. That's what's made me an independent, and slowly leaning toward third party.

Why should one more drop of our soldiers blood be spilled on foreign soil? Why fight/die for 'freedom' anymore when our citizens are pissing it away at the voting booth?

Darkseid - The YR's are a very CONSERVATIVE group. Although I share your disgust with RINOs and I can think of a few on council who I would like to have some words with, I don't see 3rd parties as a viable option (even though I have a special place in my heart for libertarians).
I say, get involved with the local Rs and work your ideas from the inside. If enough right minded people enter the party, it will begin to shift. Let's face it, the LCRP is a small pond that you can quickly become a big fish in. So get involved!!!
kateb - there was a Kid's Republican Club at one time. You may want to contact the LCRP about that. As far as a Kid's Dems, I would say that's public school :-)
