LEAVITT WILL NOT RUN FOR CONGRESS IN 2010

Bradley S. Leavitt, 2006 and 2008 Congressional Candidate for Ohio’s Ninth District, will
not seek public office in 2010. Leavitt was laid off last February, and has since gained employment in Memphis, TN. Leavitt cites the lack of employment opportunities in the Toledo area, the Ninth District, and the state of Ohio for the need to relocate.

BIRMINGHAM, MICHIGAN, June 1, 2009 -- The Stratton Foundation will present the Great Lakes Machinima Festival on Sunday, August 16, 5-8pm at Memphis Smoke in Royal Oak, Michigan. The event, free to the public, is a benefit to raise funds for scholarships for students studying entertainment arts at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Machinima is a digital animation genre that utilizes virtual world technology.

Conservative radio host Mike Fleming was fired today, according to sources.

Fleming, host of “The Mike Fleming Radio Program” on News Radio WREC 600 AM, was fired as part of layoffs that occurred at Clear Channel radio stations in Memphis, according to sources.
