While reading the local online, I read a story concerning Ohio's attempt at Castle Doctrine.
LEGISLATION that cleared the General Assembly this past week won't prevent higher electric bills for Ohioans, but - and here's the good news - the increases won't be as great as the utilities wanted.

I'd just like to quickly point out to anyone that might not be aware of this, but Keno is one of the worst gambling games you can play in terms of the "house edge". The factor/amount of this house edge can vary based on the payout structure, but THE BEST you could hope for would be around 25% or so. This means that for every dollar you play, you will lose $0.25 in the long run.

Gov. Ted Strickland is taking the flex out of flexible work hours for thousands of government workers.
In October he mandates that all "skill games" get pulled from taverns and private clubs because 1) gambling is illegal, immoral and creates many additional social ills and 2) Ohio voters have voted down gambling consistently every time is comes up for a vote.
