These terrorists are arrested without charges, face life in prison etc. WITHOUT ever carrying out any acts of terror.  I always wondered what other countries did with their captured terrorists.

Pakistan to seek terror charges against Americans

ISLAMABAD (AP) -- Pakistani police said Thursday they plan to ask a court to charge five Americans arrested in early December with terrorism, and will seek life sentences against them.

In my Dec. 6 column, I was discussing the grave situation we find ourselves in, what with two unwinnable, and, as far as I’m concerned, unjustifiable wars, an economy in shambles, double-digit unemployment and a decade of stagnant wages. So far, as is generally the case with politicians, their first concern has been to look out for the persons and institutions that played a huge part in getting us into this position. They, after all, by dint of their wealth, virtually control the political process.

Regardless of whatever the President decides I did get some good news this week. I am going to Afghanistan. I begin predeployment training in about a month.

COLUMBUS—State Senator Jon Husted (R-Kettering) introduced an important resolution this week that calls on leaders in Washington to reduce barriers in elections law that negatively impact the ability of our nation’s military personnel and other Americans located overseas to register to vote and cast a ballot.

“Current voting procedures, both at the state and federal level, fail to recognize the unique logistical and geographical challenges that the dedicated men and women in our armed forces and other Americans living overseas face in order to exercise their right to vote,” said Husted.

Where is that Liberal screeching about 'bringing the troops home alive' and how all the Libs are "concerned" over Americans being "put in harms way"?

Where is that Indignance you Libs had with the Iraq war? Why aren't you protesting the surge in Afghanistan that is getting Americans KILLED AT A RECORD PACE?
