YWCA SELLS WHITE TOWER BUILDING TO RUMPF DEVELOPMENT LLC

Toledo, Ohio. Lisa McDuffie, President and CEO of YWCA of Greater
Toledo, announces completion of the sale of the White Tower building
located at Jefferson and 10th, in downtown Toledo, to Rumpf Development,
Ltd. for the price of one dollar.

Bruce Rumpf, Managing Member of Rumpf Development, states that "We are
pleased to work with the YWCA to retain the White Tower as part of
Toledo's history. With the help of Jim Moline, 2007 HBA Builder of the
Year, and Bob Seyfang, architect and preservationist, we will carefully
dismantle and reconstruct the building at its new home at Ontario and
Monroe. We have high hopes that the restored restaurant, with historic
memorabilia, will become a 'must stop' by tourists who come to our
city." Rumpf adds that it was the advocacy of Mayor Carty Finkbeiner
and The Blade that led him to realize he could help the YWCA with its
construction project and save the historic White Tower building.
Documentation and dismantling of the current structure is expected to be
completed within 30 days.

"It was crucial for us to sell this historic landmark to someone who
would preserve it in a new location. We are pleased that Bruce Rumpf
stepped up to do just that - paying for the dismantling, moving and
restoration of the building just a few blocks away," says McDuffie. The
YWCA plans to break ground in early October for a four-story building,
next to its current location, that will provide women and children with
permanent, supportive housing. Plans are in place to launch a $3
million capital campaign that will allow renovations of the current
domestic violence shelter and programs at 1018 Jefferson. With the
completion of both projects, expected in 2010, there will be a total of
65 efficiency, one- and two-bedroom apartments in the two adjacent
buildings.

"We look forward to beginning a new permanent housing program that
aligns with the many other services we currently provide," adds
McDuffie.
