Teachers Shook and Brueggmann have been suspended. For having a legal relationship with girls who were their former students. Whats the problem here ? They waited, the girls were 18yrs old. It didn't happen on school property. So why is this an issue ? Sure it looks bad to some. But I have no problem with it. Once the investigation is over I suspect these men will resign. If these men had met these same girls else where it would not be an issue. So why hold them to a different standard ?

have no problem ? How old are these men ? They taught these girls. Why were they attracted to their students ? They are supposed to be teaching them , not having a crush on them , and holding it until they turn 18. Shouldn't high school girls be encouraged to have friends their own age , going to prom and football games with their friends , finding boyfriends there ? Did these teachers talk to these girls when they were underage and tell them that they would be there when they reached 18 ? I have seen this before , and I know a couple that have a good marriage with this kind of start, but it sure skirts the line of what is appropriate.
I don't think any kind of criminal charges can come upon them. After all, everybody is legally an adult.
That being said, if the school finds that creepy enough that they don't want to employ the teachers, that's their deal too.
