Don't say we didn't warn you. First, it was alcohol and smoking bans. Now it's fast food. The nannies just won't let up until they can regulate or ban anything that doesn't fit into their Weltanschauung. "The Los Angeles City Council has passed an ordinance prohibiting construction of new fast-food restaurants in a 32-square-mile area inhabited by 500,000 low-income people."

The US is fast becoming neither the land of the free nor the home of the brave. A lot of wimps is more like it in that we are allowing this crap to go on. And I never eat at those places, but they have a right to be in business.

I don't even consider California an American state anymore. They've totally gone Communist. (The State knows better than you what's good for you and will make your choices for you (unless you are rich fat cat elitist Hollywood hypocrite).
Ohio's no better. The state has banned tobacco smoking in bars, which are privately owned, and didn't compensate owners for taking away part of their business! The state also passed a law forbidding businesses those Tic-Tac-Fruit "skill games" because it considered them gambling, and then turned around and is putting Keno games into those same businesses. I could go on and on. Toledo recently tried to strong-arm those convenience stores into special licenses and equipment and has tried to limit where they can exist.
Ohio is no better than anywhere else.
And Ohioans & Toledoans keep on electing the same people into office like sheep.
And Bill Gates intends to save the world - ban smoking worldwide, so we'll all be happier.
