Turnpike Signage

Tagged:  •    •

My son and I just got back from a day trip to Cleveland to check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. I noticed on the way there and back a sign on the turnpike I wasn't familiar with.

It's the letters HC with a red circle around them and the red line across them as in the No smoking signs.

Any ideas as to what HC stands for?

No Hazardous Cargo Sign

It means No Hazardous Cargo. Its meant for semi trucks that haul hazardous materials to stay out of the congested areas of town in case something happens to the load.

Course...it may be a left over Barack Obama campaign sign. Laughing

Ahhh well thank you KK that makes purrfect sense either way you look at it. Wink

Good news...I just came through Columbus tonight and HC is allowed on I-270 so whichever thing HC stands for according to Kat...it is allowed in Columbus.
