VIENNA, June 15 (Reuters) - Whether it has any bearing on Monday's crunch Euro 2008 match between the two countries is debatable but Austria drew first blood on Sunday when their topless women's soccer team beat Germany 10-5.
The traditional swapping of shirts afterwards was not an option as the six-a-side teams wore nothing but thongs, with the national colours painted on to their bare skin.

Might work for a girl built like Olive Oyl but the idea of running about on a soccer field topless sounds downright painful to me

I think it's funny that so many people have read this thread & clicked on the link, in the hopes of seeing topless female soccer players wearing thongs - only to not see....anything much. I demand equality - I want to see a bunch of hunky men playing soccer in thongs. On second thought, no I don't - I hate seeing men in thongs. Butt naked will be better.
Over 700 reads since I posted it. Just create a new post calling it "Men wearing thongs, playing soccer" and point it to the McCain web site.
