Gov. Strickland is going to the Ohio Supreme Court to get the CAT tax on groceries reinstated after an appeals court ruled it unconstitutional. The Ohio Grocers Association will be on tuesday to explain why they are fighting this once again.
Tom Waniewski also drops in to preview the council agenda for tomorrow's meeting.

Only Dumborats,could possibly think to tax FOOD! Maybe,they could tax our bowel movements also! They tax us as we live.They tax our social security(Welfare) ,which ,in itself was once a TAX!( a tax on a tax,that was once a tax,heavy taxation,Dude) They tax us as we die,estate tax.So, to tax FOOD makes sense to tax and waste buffoons! It has done so well in Toledo,ie. tax everything that moves.And of course,Toledo is the shining city on the lake the WHOLE world looks to ,to see government BRILLIANCE,as it works!Brilliant ,heh?
