Is this McCain's viral bait? Should we bite? It is an ad that is running on YouTube right now. If you look at the picture you would think it would be McCain & Lieberman as Pres/VP respectively. Would this be possible?

We don't have a conservative at the top of the ticket, so we may as well nominate a democrat for Veep. I'll be voting for Bob Barr. I'm all in favor of electing Obama to Jimmy Carter's second term. After 4 years, the country will be looking for another Ronaldus Maximus, and will turn Congress back over to real conservatives.
He needs a conservative to get the vote of the base.

My gut says that you're right, but my head tells me that he needs to pick what I'd call a liberterian style conservative, think Ron Paul, but less crazy, to win back the conservative that say they won't vote for McCain. ie Glenn Beck
I simply don't believe any conservative who says John McCain isn't 'conservative' enough to vote for in Nov. These people don't 'sit out' elections, they're not voting Obama, and they'll simply vote for who they consider to be the lesser of two evils. Besides, McCain has been pandering to this voting bloc by moving further to the right since he's won the nomination.
True...the entire McCain campaign is running on don't vote for Obama because of x,y,z. The fact is, McCain never says vote for me because of a,b,c. If he ran on issues, he'd loose. Republicans always would... instead we make it about Vietnam, wives, ministers and hair cuts.
Hell, at least Bush told us that we need to vote for him or we'd be killed by Illegal IslamoFascist Married Gay people. That stuff doesn't work on me, but the weak minded eat it up.

McCain has been in bed with Democrats for so long, I don't trust him. I think he is trying to sound like a conservative JUST to get elected. Therefore he is a bigger liar than Obama.

No party will significantly change anything until corporate power is curtailed. You will never get small gov't until that happens.
