TOLEDO (WTOL) - The financial spreadsheet remains in the red for the city of Toledo and the mayor says he'll soon roll out his plan on how to balance the city's books.
"We know about increased costs, where the increased costs have come have come... fuel consumption, overtime and things like that," Finkbeiner says.
"Clearly the culprit for that is manufacturing jobs," says Council Member George Sarantou, "As people are laid off, obviously our income tax collections are going to go down."
Making matters worse, Council's Betty Shultz says, "It is essential that we be able to track every cent, and we can't at this point."
