You won’t see this on the air this week on Conklin and Company. On Friday evening in the lobby before the taping of Conklin & Company, Jon Stainbrook who was on the first segment, refused to go on because Troy was on the same show. It actually got so bad that Lee Conklin was going to call security because Jon was making such a scene.
Here's what Stainbrook had to say to Troy as his sidekick was shoving a camcorder in his face.

I heard about the 13 thing on Saturday morning but could not post until Sunday. I was enjoying my weekend at Maumee State Park. Don't know if there is any WiFi out there. My wife would kill me if I started bringing a lop top camping. lol But I could get a-lot of work done.

Jon wouldn't be the first person who got incorrect information from the board of elections. He probably won't be the last.
As someone who has worked on a few presidential campaigns, I can tell you that the local GOP doesn't get to schedule events for the candidate. The campaign contacts the chairman and TELLS him what the event is and what the local party can do help. The candidate's press office does all media planning. A local party chairman who tried to book local media time for a presidential candidate would get his head taken off.
Jon and Troy have issues. It's always been my experience is that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I've read Troy's side here, there and everywhere. I went down to GOP HQ to get Jon's. I got the impression that this was driven by both parties -- not just one.

Actually, I would love to get over it, but Jon keeps providing reasons why I just can't. How about not forgetting deadlines, not threatening people in public and behind the scenes (you and I know that the incident with Troy is not the only one), and actually showing leadership by accepting offers of help. What about the Web site I offered to do for someone for free, but it was not considered something that could be done in "this political environment"? I think you need to talk to Jon first.
I am very forgiving, although threats is something I do not usually forgive and Jon has already one strike in that book.
Jon has my e-mail and cell, have not had any e-mails and phone calls to it yet from him.

Interview goes mostly normal. Around 9 minutes, Jon asks Conklin a question and puts Lee on the defensive when Lee asks Jon what McCain means by he will work for you. Jon insinuates that Lee is saying McCain does not understand the common man, Lee says he just wants to know what that means.
