Tomorrow the LCRP Central Committee will vote on our party chairman. Before that
vote happens there are some things you need to know about one of the candidates
for that office. Jon Stainbrook is what many would call a wolf in sheeps clothing.
I know many of you have received his letters and newsletters and it all sounds great
and there is a place in our party for him, but not party chairman. Jon is very good
at recruiting volunteers and getting people excited about our candidates. Party
Chairman is much more than that, he is the public face of our party, our chief fundraiser,
our candidate recruiter, advisor to candidates, and has many other responsibilities.
The fact that the Toledo Blade is pushing so hard for us to elect Jon should also
raise some questions, they are one of the most liberal newspapers in the state.
There have been more than 40 stories in the Blade since this began in January, all
pro Stainbrook. This is only speculation but it is note worthy, does the Blade want
Jon Stainbrook in control of the LCRP so they can thwart the efforts for John McCain
in Lucas County? They did endorse Obama back in February and Jon does have a history
of involvement with the Democrats.
In a previous letter to the central committee Jon made the following statement;
"The Executive Director is not a position for amateurs or persons not of the highest
moral and ethical character." Certainly if Jon feels the E. D. "should be of the
highest moral and ethical character" he must feel that the chairman, the leader
of our party, should be held to an even higher standard. The following will shine
some light on why Jon Stainbrook is not of the highest moral and ethical character;
* Charged in Sylvania Municipal Court with passing bad checks. Sylvania Municipal

* Evicted from house in Maumee Municipal Court with damages to home.

Jon also stated in a recent article in the Toledo Blade he is a musician, public
relations consultant and political consultant. Given that he has never won a race
himself (he ran for Toledo City Council 3X and Lucas County Auditor 1X) we wonder
if he has the right stuff to win. He also has never had to file a campaign finance
report due to lack of fundraising. The key role of the party chair is fundraising.
Jon has never been able to raise enough money for his own much smaller campaigns
let alone the tens of thousands it takes to keep the party going. Like we said
earlier, there is a place in the party for Jon with his ability to recruit volunteers
and generate enthusiasm and we do welcome that enthusiasm!
In a previous email that went out from the Concerned Republicans, we told you about
Jon's history of going to the Democrat side. Shouldn't our party chairman be entirely
dedicated to the Republican Party? Those are facts taken straight out of the Toledo
Blade. In the block beneath this we have copied our previous email in case you missed
it.
You may also wonder why we have been unable to find someone in our group who is
willing to sign their name to these emails to add credibility. The fact that Jon
Stainbrook has filed numerous lawsuits, and he does not seem to discriminate since
he has suits filed against everyone it seems, from his veterinarian to Sony Music,
makes everyone nervous about signing their name to anything that is against him
for fear of being sued as well.

The LCRP had the first Central Committee meeting scheduled for April 12. The party
sent out the usual postcard notice for the meeting. You probably received a similar
notice a couple of days later that was the same postcard with Cancelled stamped
across it in red. Those postcards cancelling the meeting were NOT sent out by the
party. Nobody knows who sent them out but the question remains, who would benefit
from people not showing up at that meeting? Jon Stainbrook did file a lawsuit to
have that meeting cancelled and was successful but those postcards were postmarked
April 10, the court cancelled the meeting April 11. We are not accusing but it is
curious to say the least.
On a final note, the question also remains as to why Jon Stainbrook incorporated
the Lucas County Republican Party under his name and address. Ohio Secretary of

business filing info.
These are all legitimate concerns. Bob Reichert is a respected businessman, community
leader and elected official. There may have been some bumps in the road during
his first term as chairman but the key word when describing Bob is respected. There
is no comparison between the two candidates to lead our party, we hope this information
helps make your decision easier.
Sincerely,
Concerned Republicans of Lucas County

Dear Republican Leader,
The Encarta World Dictionary defines a Predator as a person, group, or company that
destroys others for gain. As
witnessed by numerous articles, speeches, and court cases there is a
predator amongst the Lucas County Republican Party. A person who
controls a group, who is willing with no concern to the well being of
the Lucas County GOP, to destroy others for personal gain. A person who
has gained the assistance of one of America's Newspapers, and a puppet
of the staff, to air his message. A deceitful message of smear tactics
in an attempt to elevate his status amongst the party faithful.
Preying on the lowest point in Lucas County GOP history, the Noe
era, throwing without regard of substance, the "N"-oe word, in an
attempt to redeem himself as the perfect Republican and candidate to be
your Chairman.
A predator who is willing to attempt to tarnish the image of a Chairman who has
volunteered his time and money for the party.
A predator who has destroyed two years of hard work and effort of its Executive
Director.
A predator who has tarnished one of his own to malign and destroy a reputation of
the Executive Director.
Terrorizing the Executive Director with a past history, exposed to
the public for judgment of actions and misfortunes of the past.
Bordering an almost unethical assault through one of America's
Newspapers for personal, if not bigger gains.
This predator is the person who wants to lead your local GOP,
one who is willing to destroy others for gain. A person who judges
others to have the highest moral and ethical character. A person who
quotes General Churchill, "Politics is public service, a public service
is serving the people." He has served his predatory appetite and now he
is wanting to serve you. Since the Noe reign, this predator has been
hunting, seeking out, searching carefully for someone or something to
prey upon. It is time for the hunter to be the hunted. Please educate
yourself about the character of this predator.
Sincerely,
Concerned Republicans
Did you know:
Jon Stainbrook incorporated the Lucas County Republican Party, Dec. 29, 2006? (see
attached documents)
Jon Stainbrook attended the Mud Hens season opener with John
Robinson Block, owner of the Toledo Blade and strolled to the ball park
with Mr. Block.
Despite the glowing terms "Stain" spoke of former LCRP Chairman
Jim Brennan in his latest letter, he was part of a coalition with
Paula Pennypacker to try and unseat Chairman Brennan.
The following are directly from the Toledo
Blade, check out the stories on the "Stain", there are many more
details of this predator. From 1997 thru today there are no less than
162 stories which include Mr. Stainbrook's name. Some are about him,
some sought his opinion. It would appear that some historical link
exists between the Stain and the Blade. I think we all know the Blade
is not a Republican friendly newspaper. The question you need to ask
yourself - Is this who we want leading the Republican Party?
Lucas County Auditor
Larry Kaczala survived a challenge from a former confidant and easily
won the Republican nomination for re-election in primary balloting
yesterday, according to unofficial returns from the county board of
elections.Mr. Stainbrook said he spoke to Mr. Witzler last night and offered his
support to the Democrat through the November election.
Blade, The (Toledo, OH) - May 6, 1998
The man known to acquaintances as "The Stain" has all but decided to turn his back
on the GOP in favor of the local Democratic Party, but the future in such a move
is likely very limited. No one trusts a political turncoat, and the few entreaties
he has made to local Democratic office-holders have gone unanswered.
Blade, The (Toledo, OH) - July 7, 2000
Mr. Stainbrook , who has written free-lance entertainment stories for The Blade,
worked on campaigns for Bob Dole, Bob Taft, Mike DeWine, George Voinovich, and
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry. He ran three times for Toledo City
Council, all unsuccessfully. In
1998, while working as a deputy auditor, he challenged Mr. Kaczala in a
Republican primary and lost.
