So we have heard about the story of the Republican precinct chair that lives in Michigan, but won a Toledo seat. His name is James Arthur.

By reading all of the coverage, it appeared that he was actually recruited by the party to run for the position. This is not true. His voter form was filled out by Chris Mueller, who was working with Mathew Bartow, who is now/has been working with Jon Stainbrook per the recent newsletters.

"An associate of Mr. Bartow, Chris Mueller, was present at a news conference yesterday with Mr. Stainbrook. Mr. Mueller said he and Mr. Bartow joined forces in submitting new names for the party's central committee. Mr. Bartow could not be reached for comment."

Being the date the voter registration card was signed was January of this year, and we have since found that he had not been at the residence since the fall of last year, presents some problems. The board of elections has referred the case to the prosecutor, and obviously someone will have a problem because it appears either the registration card was forged or Mr. Arthur actually wrote down the wrong address, knowingly or unknowingly.

Another twist to the story...stay tuned for more.

See the attachment below for a copy of the card.
