WARNING!
I've offered this thread as to how the media and the internet has fooled most Americans with propaganda. This thread is intended as parody, pure entertainment and not to be taken as fact. Again not as fact! If you look at some of the following posters and website links posted below you will find this to be true.

Thank you, I will be sure to patronize these businesses as much as possible. I don't see anything wrong with what Rush said.

Statements made are the opinion of the writer who is exercising his first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and are generally permitted.

Bill Maher calling Sarah Palin a "cunt" on his show with millions of viewers watching and then giving a million dollars to Obama's super PAC and Obama keeps it, while condemning Rush, shows us all what a hypocrite Obama is, and for all those sponsors that left, more will come to fill in. Oh just so your not confused She's no student she's a
30 year old political hack, left-wing Democrat Party activist who was presented as a student in order to promote Obama's agenda.

"DTOM" {1776} " We The People" {1791}

Was thinking of all the really filthy things that were said about Pailin & family over the past 4 years by high profile tv jerks & journalists. Haven't heard any apologies for any of that, nor for BO's "lipstick on a pig" smart remark that was pretty obviously aimed at her.

But you gotta give credit where it's due on this one - the libs laid a very simple trap with this gal - in order to turn the public's attention away from the attack on religious liberty and the left's unapologetic hatred for the unborn - and for a short time it worked. Even Limbaugh, who is generally more careful to sidestep such obvious traps fell for it.

Conservatives need to stay focused. BO will try lots of similar tactics between now and November, like sob sisters weeping in public over their phony "need" for contraceptives, or any number of any false "needs" with the aid of the lap dog media. When IN FACT, fellow conservatives - THE TOPIC IS RELIGIOUS LIBERTY & FORCING RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS TO FUND ABORTIONS. Granted we don't have any help from the liberal lap dog media. But staying focused and on message can do wonders for conservatism.

DTOM, I have no doubt that Obama is probably a hypocrite.

...compare Palin with Fluke...

"Bill Maher calling Sarah Palin a "cunt"

if a statement is true, where's the need for apologies.

Two of those companies have already pulled advertising, as well as Quicken Loans and the Cleveland Cavs

Thanks for NOTHING wolfbait!! I already have a house full of things I don't need. Now I have to fill up the basement with more crap.

G-Man where will you do your posting!
Add Taylor to that list!

No can do on that one, just don't add Taylor Cadillac to your list.

Five companies now have pulled their advertising from Limbaugh's show

Pink Slip

Only to be filled by another five companies.

And when those companies that pulled out want to come back next month, after the liberal boycott brigade has moved on to feigning outrage over their next manufactured controversy, Rush should charge them an increased rate specially reserved for cowards.

Sure. Just like all those advertisers that jumped in to save Glenn Beck

Pink Slip

He apologized today, same kind of apology Ted Kennedy gave after Chappiquidick. Sleep Number will be back within month, along with Pro Flowers. They all just needed him to say "i'm sorry". It's like an Anthony Weiner "i'm sorry". Or a Robert Byrd "i'm sorry I was a KKK leader" i'm sorry.

For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.

I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone's bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.

My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.

He should have talked about how "agonizing" it was for him and his family, his pain and suffering over the incident. Then go on to say that although he wonders if he can continue to do a good job, he is deciding to stay on even though it's a "difficult decision".
He could mention the many memories he shares with his audience and then ask the audience to think "it through with him" and help him decide, even though he's going to make the decision himself.
I love the line about "put this most recent tragedy behind me".

... when Kennedy died. (Thought this one might interest you.) I was in the Walmart parking lot and the car windows were down. The radio talk show guy said - "I wonder if the Kopechnes were invited to the funeral." Just then an angry liberal actually stopped to argue about this. I was a combination of amused and flabbergasted. He said angrily, Is that Glenn Beck?" It was Brian Wilson, actually, but I just said no. And we proceeded to exchange some "comments" about how conservatives aren't allowed in Lucas County, etc. It was a good reminder that dedicated liberals are angry unhappy people, who always think they and their ilk should control everything in the world - people's opinions, what people say, what people think. And as we see with personalities like Bill Maher and others who spew hatred 24/7 - a lot of them are just plain nuts.

Aww...it looks like Carbonite is dropping Rush, even after his apology.

Oooooh nooooo not Carbonite! Enjoy the hiatus while it lasts. The millions of listeners (possible buyers) for these advertisers won't be left alone for long. Expect all to back once this blows over (no pun intended)

Any statement I make is the opinion of me exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is generally permitted.

Here is just one letter among hundreds from Rush viewers..

letter to Carbonite:

I am extremely disappointed in your CEO for both giving in to the demands to withdraw from the Rush Limbaugh radio show and for his defense of Ms Fluke as 'courageous'. This is a 30 year old woman that in her own Congressional testimony has claimed that she sleeps around so much that she demands that taxpayers support her need for birth control. You say she is courageous. The President says her parents should be proud of her. Bollocks. Mr. Friend, you brought your daughters into this discussion with your press statement. Might I kindly request that should your daughters require thousands of dollars of birth control a year that they not demand that I pay for them with my tax dollars. If any apologies are owed here, it is to Rush and the taxpayers who are being asked to support mooches like Ms Fluke and demanded that we keep their damn mouths shut about it, as tho WE are in the wrong for thinking the worst of Ms Fluke and those like her based on their own actions. M Payton

"DTOM" {1776} " We The People" {1791}

Dumb ass...please quote in her testimony where she says she sleeps around. You're a moron of the first order who hasn't even bothered to listen to her testimony but prefer to listen to the radio head asses who lie about her.

The companies that are dropping Limbaugh will lose more business by not advertising on his show then they ever would from an inane boycott. They'll all be back by the time you can say "Georgetown girls are promiscuous."

Joe I think the drugster got taint under his fingernails! He's angered 50% of the population. The women are not happy, that's why the apology. If this boycott builds maybe Bain Capital will lose on CCMO. This was just another stunt to build audience maybe it back fired!

Statements made are the opinion of the writer who is exercising his first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and are generally permitted.

50%? Hahahah wow Paul that is a huge ASSumption you are making, that all women are angered by what Limbaugh said. Don't expect the boycott to build anymore than it has unless there's a company that wan'ts to score points with those that are angered in an attempt to garner their business.
When the Limbaugh audience of millions decides to no longer spend money with companies that don't spend money with him they will be back.

Any statement I make is the opinion of me exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is generally permitted.

People are starting to wake to the fact that this Hate radio thing has escalated into what we've just experienced with the Drugster Rush. They're saying to themselves hey wait-a-minute that ain't right...damn this crap has gone to far. About time people start thinking out side the blowhard box!

A few facts about the Drugster.
In 2006, Drugster was detained at Palm Beach International Airport in Florida after authorities found a bottle of Viagra in someone else's name in his bag. 2004 Rush's third wife, Marta, allegedly grew tired of never having sex with her and filed for divorce. http://pssht.com/biography/rush_limbaugh.html Rushbo has been married and divorced three times. He currently lives with a cat. A regular Citizen Kane!
He didn't register to vote until he was 35. Rush attended college but never finishing and according to his mother, "he flunked everything", In 2006, the Drugster was arrested on a single charge of prescription fraud. He publicly acknowledged being addicted to pain medication. (MORE) http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2009/03/06/10-things-you-didnt-know-...

ABC's This Week
Peggy Noonan speaks to Rush Limbaugh's defamatory remarks about Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke.

"What Rush Limbaugh said was crude, rude, even piggish, it was just unacceptable, he ought to be called on it," Noonan said Sunday. "I'm glad he has apologized. I guess there will be a debate now about the nature of the apology. But what he said was also destructive."

"It confused the issue. It played into this trope that the Republicans have a war on women. No, they don't, but he made it look they that way. It confused the larger issue which is the real issue, which is 'Obamacare,' and its incursions against religious freedoms, which is a serious issue. It was not about this young lady at Georgetown."

Spot on. This is the same as companies dropping out of airtime just before the superbowl. By God, that'll show 'em. Now nobody will hear about products.

If Paul and the others on the left were really worried about women being called names they would have posted about these comments-
Ed Schultz said on his radio show that Sarah Palin set off a “bimbo alert.”

Keith Olbermann has said that conservative commentator S.E. Cupp should have been aborted by her parents, apparently because he finds her having opinions offensive. He called Michelle Malkin a “mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick.” He found it newsworthy to discuss Carrie Prejean’s breasts on his MSNBC show. His solution for dealing with Hillary Clinton, who he thought should drop out of the presidential race, was to find “somebody who can take her into a room and only he comes out.”

Matt Taibbi wrote on his blog in 2009, “When I read [Malkin’s] stuff, I imagine her narrating her text, book-on-tape style, with a big, hairy set of balls in her mouth.” In a Rolling Stone article about Secretary of State Clinton, he referred to her “flabby arms.” When feminist writer Erica Jong criticized him for it, he responded by referring to Jong as an “800-year old sex novelist.” (Jong is almost 70, which apparently makes her an irrelevant human being.) In Taibbi’s profile of Congresswoman and presidential candidate Michele Bachmann he labeled her “batshit crazy.

Chris Matthews has also called Clinton “witchy,” “anti-male,” and “uppity” and once claimed she won her Senate seat only because her “husband messed around.”

Maher has called Palin a “dumb twat” and dropped the C-word in describing the former Alaska governor. He called Palin and Congresswoman Bachmann “boobs” and “two bimbos.

Maher said of a woman who was harassed while breast-feeding at an Applebee’s, “Don't show me your tits!

Oddly enough it's a liberal woman who points all this out in her column http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/03/04/rush-limbaugh-s-apology...

Millions and millions of abortions and, pushing the homosexual agenda, are the only two real concerns of Liberals.

so base and inhuman , I expected it sooner.
And, as completely stupid as is typical of those who vote for those who hate America, like you do.

I hear Venezuela & China, is where a lot of America Haters, are moving too.

And as always I point out that no one is being forced to listen to Limbaugh. Any of the people who are complaining about what a bigot he is just simply needs to stop listening. They don't need to worry about telling everyone else what's best for them. The elites don't have a corner on what's right or wrong for people although they behave as though they do. Instead of don't ask, don't tell I suggest don't like, don't listen.

How about stating wars and invading counties on bullshit information.

Put it this way, jm. The liberals have changed "give me liberty, or give me death, to "give me liberty, and give me-give me".
