She shoulda hit the books more, and the sheets less. I'm sick and tired of paying OPF(other peoples' fccking). Nobody pays for mine, but me.

He deliberately used those "over the top" terms to get a reaction.
The thing is, he's really got a point. This woman is going to a very expensive Catholic university and wants us the taxpayers to pay for her birth control??
I also heard that she researched different universities and their policies beforehand. So she KNEW that Georgetown wouldn't pay for her birth control and went there any way.

and what is getting lost in the discussion...

those arguing "for" this Sebelius/BO idiocy - are insisting on the worst of it - that religious organizations should pay for abortion pills that kill babies in their earliest development. This is incredible evil. And if memory serves, both BO AND Marcy Kaptur publicly promised that Obamacare would not include payments of any kind for abortion.

I hope our local Bishop follows through on what he has said about this - that this diocese (if that is the correct organizational term) will stop providing health insurance under this (unconstitutional) directive - and will simply pay the "fine".

BO was elected for 4 years, and 4 years only. We must ensure that this serial violator of our Constitution, and enemy of the unborn, does not get another 4 years by voting for someone honorable for president in November.

In paul's world it's ok to lie about a radio personality, (until their lawyers make you fess up)but if one is to call a woman who wants paid for sex a prostitute it's a bad thing.

I guess that's what happens when you're spoon fed your thoughts by corrupt puppetmasters for enough years. Maybe paul's just offended by bad language about the only women who've ever offered him solace and a warm shoulder...

This stuff is getting more ridiculous by the minute! The next item coming down the pike will be liberals complaining that the price of getting jacked off, should be covered by the taxpayers. It's a safer form of contraception than taking chemicals, other than aspirin.

This is what is known as Epic Fail Paul. Nice try though. If Ms. Fluke finds the pill too expensive there are other options.....condoms, spermicides, no sex, anal sex, oral sex, intrauterine devices. None of which I'm willing to pay for. She could also only have sex with men who are sterile, or have had vasectomys.

The subject is coarseness of Speedy talk radio. Try to adhere to the thread Fred. This is not WSPD where you try to lead the caller into some compromising corner. Many are wondering why for the love of money does our public airwaves have to be filled with this nonsense?

with discussing lewdness and trashiness - it sounds coarse, lewd and trashy when being discussed - because, as in this case, the woman, and her lifestyle, IS coarse, etc. [apparently unbeknownst to herself].

As someone said on talk radio this a.m., this gal kind of made the conservative case for us [apparently unbeknownst to herself].

You have no idea what you are talking about and you’re nothing more than a lemming being told what to think. Conservatives like you used to make me sad, being unable to think for yourself, but it’s only become apparent to me in the last few years that your willful ignorance is dangerous.

Please describe this woman’s testimony and “lifestyle”. Please quote her testimony. I know you haven’t listened to it at all, but are being told what she said by the ones who do your thinking for you.

& have seen scores of your posts, and remain amazed that you rarely ever include one actual FACT in your rantings. Just over-the-top emotionalism. One of the hallmark's of liberalism.

Do you ever include facts? Nope.

MikeyA

Emotionalism? Really? I know you have no idea what her testimony was, because it wasn’t about her use of birth control. That is a FACT. Her testimony was about her friend needing it fight ovarian cysts and being denied coverage. It’s easier for Rush to just call her a slut and you to nod your head. Like I said your willful ignorance is dangerous.

Show a liberal a piece of paper with the words "Give me liberty, or give me death" written on it, and ask them to read it aloud. What you'll hear is "Give me liberty, and give me-give me.

If all of these whiny coeds could just become lesbians, it would save taxpayers a bunch of money!

Or tell their boyfriends to choke their chickens!

Liberal talk show host Ed Schultz got into a bit of trouble last year for calling conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham a ‘right-wing slut’ He offered an on-the-air apology and was taken off the air (unpaid) for one week. http://www.politico.com/blogs/onmedia/0511/MSNBC_suspends_Schultz_for_ca...
Lets see if Hate radio will do the right thing and give the bombastic blowhard some time off. We know the goof on Speedy called the TPS students "teaching little monkeys to peeling bananas" and nothing happened to him. http://www.radio-info.com/news/little-monkeys-comment-puts-wspd-toledo-h...

You said you don't listen to WSPD any more. Lying again?

JeepMaker you're giving Jeep workers a bad reputation by your ignorant rants. Stop feeding into the stereo typical image of stupidity... please stay on topic if you can!

Paul has now painted himself into a corner. This thread is titled "coarseness of speedy talk radio" and to prove the point Paul uses a clip of a Rush Limbaugh show. In previous posts Paul has talked of his switching to WJR in Detroit for his balanced radio. I would point out that Rush Limbaugh is carried on WJR, which is not a CC station, and therefore should fall under the same coarseness label. How's that for sticking to the thread Wohlfarth?

Does WSPD carry Rush Limbaugh? Did they not run the above mentioned program? You and that windbag on the afternoon are truly disturbed by the fact that the Wolfman speaks his mind. I got a few calls about your bantering slanderous comments yesterday (March 1, 2012 around 5:35 PM) on WSPD about the Wolfman. You may control the local airwaves by hanging up on or talking over those you disagree with but you do not have the right of exclusivity of opinion. One minute you're thanking me for all the free advertizement but mostly you and company are trying to muzzle my free expression like you did to Mark Levin.

Just look at your tactics to muzzle me. Here's just a sample in reverse: Fred Lefebvre as a Clear Channel employee working for WSPD 1370 radio Toledo Ohio living on Winston Blvd. will you please stop your attempts to impend Wolfman's first amendment rights of free speech.

Dogboy, you're a pathetic, moronic, sheep. I'll FORGET more than you'll ever know.

To what Rush said. Are all women who use birth control sluts and prostitutes?

You know darn well what the issue is here. Ms. Fluke is saying 3k for contraception has placed an unfair burden on her. But she did not say she actually paid anything out of her pocket, did she? Can women get free contraceptives from PP, or not? She wants a special check, IMO. Does she want extra compensation for men, too? Look, if I can get 3k for contraceptives, I'm going back to college myself. Contraception can include "other means" besides pills and rubbers, that will burn through 3k in short order. An extra check is the only fair way to avoid us being told what contraception method we must use, as well.

That is blatantly flase. Fluke’s testimony, and the entire contraception debate, is about insurance companies paying for contraception as part of their health coverage, they way they pay for any other medication, such as Viagra. Morevoer, Fluke’s testimony was not about herself, but about a friend who need contraception to fight cancer and other fellow law students.

This conservative narrative, which is pure fantasy. Limbaugh apparently doesn’t understand how birth control works. His entire stance is premised on the notion that women need more birth control the more sex they have. Of course, as anyone who has taken an 8th grade sex ed class could inform him, that’s not how it works.

Since no conservative I've seen has watched Fluke's testimony, including Limbaugh, here you go.

Does this woman a slut and prostitute based on this testimony?

Wrong clip Sensor

I bet her parents are now regretting that they didn't use contraceptives--at least that one time!

Here's a link to the tesitmony in question........http://www.theblaze.com/stories/here-is-the-mind-numbing-audio-of-a-college-student-telling-congress-to-pay-for-her-birth-control/

Same testimony, just different inflection. Again, what did she say that even makes you think that she’s a slut or prostitute?

Funny, cooperatives don’t think twice about Bob Dole and the like getting Viagra from his tax payer paid for health insurance, but for woman to get birth control, makes her a slut.

Fraud, do you think the use of condoms would have prevented her lesbian friend from losing an ovary due to polycystic ovary syndrome? If so, how?

"Limbaugh apparently doesn’t understand how birth control works."

It's not just Limbaugh. Apparently, it's a lot of the dummies here too. I've known a couple of women who have used a form of birth control to help keep endometriosis in check. Without it, they would have needed surgery.

Condoms? Seriously? Why don't you fuckheads pick up a book every now and then...

Pink Slip

Two lesbians need birth control, on the publics' dime? Did one of them go to the hospital and have an addadictomy? Who had to pay for THAT? I have an aquarium full of guppies, and I can provide them free birth control, without reading a book or throwing tiny rubbers in the water. It's not that complicated.

I have an adult daughter who has no health insurance. She pays for he own birth control pills. They cost about $20 a month. That amounts to $240 a year, or $720 for 3 years.
That's a far cry from the $3000 Ms Fluke claims. Just another lib looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

"Based on data from the federal government's National Survey of Family Growth, Guttmacher found that only 42 percent of women who use the pill said they were doing so just to prevent pregnancy. The majority listed other reasons: reducing cramps, regulating their cycle, preventing migraines, and treating endometriosis. "The survey found that there are approximately 762,000 women in the US who use the pill but have never had sex."

Damn virgin sluts.

FFS the woman is already getting her tuition paid for her. Should we buy her a car too while we're throwing money around?
