WASHINGTON — NAACP leaders are calling on the Obama administration to reconsider its ousting of a black Agriculture Department worker who was pushed out of her job over racially tinged remarks, reversing their previous criticism of the employee.

NAACP President Benjamin Todd Jealous said in a statement that the group was "snookered" into believing that USDA employee Shirley Sherrod expressed racist sentiments at a local NAACP meeting in Georgia earlier this year. Jealous said conservative activist Andrew Breitbart, whose website posted video of Sherrod's remarks, deceived millions of people by releasing only partial clips. He said the full video makes clear that Sherrod was telling a story of racial unity. (MORE ON THIS STORY) http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hvdRMsb5hKNrXK9GHagILB...

She was fired out of craven fear before the facts even came out...

SHERROD: Why am I out? They asked me to resign. And, in fact, they harassed me as I was driving back to the state office from West Point, Georgia, yesterday. I had at least three calls telling me the White House wanted me to resign.

TONY HARRIS, CNN: So the pressure came from the White House?

SHERROD: And the last one asked me to pull over to the side of the road and do it.

She said, "Well, Shirley, they want you to pull over to the side of the road and do it because you're going to be on Glenn Beck tonight."

And now it's more she said they said...she claims the white house wanted her fired...and the white house claims it had nothing to do with it...

Obama briefed after Sherrod incident
Posted: July 20th, 2010 07:17 PM ET

(CNN) - President Obama was briefed after Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack decided to seek Shirley Sherrod's resignation and fully supports that decision, a White House official said Tuesday.

---------------------------------------

Oh my...whatever will dogboy do now?

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

NAACP leaders called Tuesday on the Obama administration to reconsider its ousting of a black Agriculture Department worker, saying that a conservative website edited her comments to make them seem racist.

"The tape of Ms. Sherrod’s speech at an NAACP banquet was deliberately edited to create a false impression of racial bias, and to create a controversy where none existed," Jealous said Tuesday afternoon. "This just shows the lengths to which extremist elements will go to discredit legitimate opposition."

The Obama administration said it was standing by its decision to oust Sherrod, despite evidence that her remarks were misconstrued and calls for the USDA to reconsider.

The controversy began Monday when the conservative website biggovernment.com posted a two-minute, 38-second video clip of Sherrod's remarks to a local NAACP chapter. The Huffington Post said a YouTube video was then aired on Fox News. The footage has stoked racial and political tension amid allegations by the NAACP that the Tea Party movement is bigoted. You're really beside yourself arent you...LMAO

Oh we arent playing nice and being all outraged and stuff....screw that..the NAACP is a race based hate group that has "snookered" the American public for decades...

Watch the video again and listen to the NAACP crowd laugh and giggle when she says she wouldnt help the guy...cuz he was white....remember...at that point they didnt know the end of the story...

And what of Oduma approving of her firing?

Oh and here's oduma preacher mocking whitey and the crowd roaring with laughter:

Racist to the core.......

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Watch the video again and listen to the NAACP crowd laugh and giggle when she says she wouldnt help the guy...cuz he was white....remember...at that point they didnt know the end of the story...

People laugh for a multitude of reasons - laughing with you, at you, because of incongruity, shock, fear. Laughing at "how naive I was", or fart jokes. You have no idea why they're laughing, the context of the whole meeting, and the set-up that led people to where they were here. I think you just want to find precious examples of reverse racism, and will take offense at any little thing to try and stoke that fire.

For example, that video you posted shows "mocking of whitey"? I don't think so. First of all, it's relatively true about rhythm. Second of all, I don't sense anything malicious in it. It's kinda funny. I'm not saying that he hasn't said some pretty harsh and I feel hateful things, but if you're finding this specific example to be "mocking whitey", perhaps you should examine your own thoughts and beliefs. I mean, when you listed in a previous post about Palin, the first three things you mentioned were "she's more successful....she's white....she's attractive."

"You know their reasons for laughing?"

Nope...neither do I care WHY...I do know they were laughing...but I'm sure you're going into full excuse mode and you will kindly tell us ignorant folk WHY.

"People laugh for a multitude of reasons - laughing with you, at you, because of incongruity, shock, fear. Laughing at "how naive I was", or fart jokes."

Full excuse mode.

" You have no idea why they're laughing,"

And obviously....neither do you.....the fact remains the crowd all laughed....

" the context of the whole meeting, and the set-up that led people to where they were here."

Scream CONTEXT a little louder....LMAO....what a simp....

" I think you just want to find precious examples of reverse racism, and will take offense at any little thing to try and stoke that fire."

You think all kinds of stupid shit...for example ...McNasty is a cogent debater...LMAO....

Like calling for the killing of cracker babies is "any little thing" I suppose:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3MbqupVxMY

Yeah ...That shit offends me....what about you?

"For example, that video you posted shows "mocking of whitey"? I don't think so."

No...of course not....I wouldnt expect you to think so...

" First of all, it's relatively true about rhythm."

It is?.....or is that a racial stereotype?

" Second of all, I don't sense anything malicious in it. It's kinda funny. I'm not saying that he hasn't said some pretty harsh and I feel hateful things,

Ah I see....so hateful things are kinda funny now...

Yeah the reverend wright just loves white people...not a racist bone in his body...

Now that's some funny shit....

" but if you're finding this specific example to be "mocking whitey","

There are way more examples....you want a few hundred?

" perhaps you should examine your own thoughts and beliefs."

I have....and do...That's why I'm not a liberal anymore....

" I mean, when you listed in a previous post about Palin, the first three things you mentioned were "she's more successful....she's white....she's attractive."

But but...what about the CONTEXT??? LMAO!!!

And why cant YOU offer the FULL quote and context?

Punhurts:
Sarah Palin ..............
is an idiot. The definition of an idiot is From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia-
"An idiot, dolt, or dullard is a mentally deficient person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way."

Zeitgeist:
Ofcorse you think she's an idiot....I wouldnt expect any other opinion from you...

She's been far more successful in life than you will ever be....she's white...she's attractive ...she's a former governor (both the youngest and first woman elected as AK gov)...she's happily married...she hunts....she fishes...she's pretty much the antithesis of you...I bet she's even cut her own grass....

-----------------------------------

And why my young scallop...whould I propose a black man for VP if I had a single racist bone in MY body...

Why would some of the men I look up to and aspire to be as intelligent as be:

If you are under the assumtion that all people of color are liberal and walk lock step...then perhaps YOU are the one who needs to examine your own thoughts and beliefs.

Do you practice the soft bigotry of low expectations?

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Now I have heard and read from Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell. I ventured out of the cave long enough to have found out about these two.

AlfonZo Rachel ROCKS!

Watch his videos too...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Sweet, send that to Punhrt, Misdjay so they can melt like the witch on wizard of OZ

"DTOM" {1776} " We The People" {1791}

nah...they refuse to acknowledge that part of reality...they reject it as though it doesnt exist...

Cant even get punhurts to acknowledge what a copperhead (peace democrat )was....or is...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copperheads_(politics)

They are STILL on the democrat plantation...imprisoned and enslaved with chains of the mind...

They and others have even been conned into using "uncle tom" as a slur...when in fact Uncle tom was the hero of the story "uncle toms cabin" as he refused to give up his christianity even on deaths door...and even forgave his tormentors...as jesus christ did...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncle_Tom's_Cabin

But that doesnt jive with Black liberation theology and race baiting...

Worse...people like these ladys are so mis educated...they arent aware od the history of the democrat party at all...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compromise_of_1850

Or that the entire reason for the formation of the Republican party was in opposition to slavery practiced by Democrats...

"The Compromise in general proved widely popular politically, as both parties committed themselves in their platforms to the finality of the Compromise on sectional issues. The strongest opposition in the South occurred in the states of South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, but unionists soon prevailed, spearheaded by Georgians Alexander Stephens, Robert Toombs, and Howell Cobb and the creation of the Georgia Platform. This peace was broken only by the divisive Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 introduced by Stephen Douglas, which repealed the Missouri Compromise and led directly to the formation of the Republican Party, whose capture of the national government in 1860 led directly to the secession crisis of 1860-61."

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

You don't actually ever discuss anything. You just go and get all indignant.

-Yes, I find calling for killing of cracker babies offensive, and of course I'm incensed by that clip. You bring that up as an example all the time. Why did you bring it up here....again? And I'm sure you can find others. I'm sure I can find others. What do those specific clips have anything to do with our conversation here? Yes, racism appears on all fronts, I agree. I would wager that most here on Swampbubbles would also agree. Does that help?
- And I never said hateful things are funny, you didn't even read to comprehend my statement. I said the specific clip you posted was humorous to me. If you find that THIS is an example of mocking whitey, then it shows how much of a chip you have on your shoulder. You are cruising to be offended and to pass judgement. But show very little signs of looking for meaning or understanding. Yes, Rev Wright says things that I find hateful and make me angry, but WHAT YOU POSTED was not an example of it.
- OK, good for you for bringing up more of your conversation with puhrnrt. Doesn't change the point.
- Excuse mode? Making an excuse for what? I know, let's go and watch a good comedy bit by Robin Williams, and when he does a racially charged segment let's videotape white people laughing. They're all racists! I mean, they're laughing! Proof! Please. You're trying to pass judgement so quickly that you aren't willing to consider the broader milieu of the conversation or message.
- Your explanation of why you don't have a racist bone in your body is actually good insight into why you probably have lots of racist bones in your body. You are using the "but I have friends who are black (or, I respect some black people), so I can't be racist" rationale, which displays very little understanding of issues of race. Racism doesn't have to be over-the-top, KKK-style racism. Racism plays itself out in more subtle ways all throughout our society, on lots of levels. On swampbubbles, you seem to work hard to prove that reverse-racism is out there, without really examining the converse.
- Have I ever made a statement about thinking that all black people are liberal and/or walk lock step with each other, or even insinuated that? That's ludicrous. Why would you even make such a statement?

BlowMe - Funny how "Solid" David Brock was when he as part of the right wing noise machine when he worked for the American Spectator. You conveniently forgot The Real Anita Hill: The Untold Story (1993) and The Seduction of Hillary Rodham (1996) of the books you noted.

McCaskey – I missed last meeting and didn’t get my marching orders. Can you send me a copy when you get a change?

so, in other words, Libsie, the comments from Fox contributors and Republicans on that site about the importance 'Panther' stories being embellished have no meaning, They must have been made up outta whole cloth.

I realize mean-looking black guys wearing shades and berets scare the beejesus out of you Libso and make you quiver with fear (and, the BEST PART, evidently would persuade you on how to vote!), so much that you posted a YouTube awhile back where you stated the dude had a knife....he had a stick, tucked into his pants.......small details when dealing in the world of bullshit-tossing-around, I know....

Conservatives hate Media Matters because they hate having their words thrown back at them. They hate it.

See, you are attacking the content of Fox News, BlowMe is attacking the people of Media Matters who call Fox News out for their content. He's not even trying to defend Fox News and the bull shit they show becasue he can't.

to your voting place. She sounds like a pretty tough gal...

'Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers blasts Fox for "doing the scary black man thing" in its coverage of the phony scandal. In a July 13 interview with Megyn Kelly on America Live, Powers stated: "You can actually put me in the same category of people who don't really give a darn, because I looked at the video -- the guy wasn't really intimidating people. They were walking past him and voting, so I don't really understand how he's being intimidating." Powers later accused Kelly of "doing the scary black man thing -- you know, the man standing outside is so horrible. You know, this guy was one person, there was an injunction against him, the injunction was enforced. The Civil Rights Division decided that there wasn't a case to pursue against anyone else. That's completely on the up and up. There's nothing wrong with that." Powers also stated of J. Christian Adams, who accused the Obama Justice Department of engaging in racially charged "corruption" in the New Black Panther Party case: "I think he's a conservative activist posing as a whistleblower." As Media Matters has noted, Adams is indeed a long-time GOP activist.'

Sounds like she's got a bigger sack than you, Libsie, and you evidently need the 'security.' so there ya go, stop crying yourself to sleep, you got your bodyguard....

When you libtards bash Fox news, it's OK because Fox news is part of the "republican establishment". Yet you both obviously get your marching orders from MediaMatters.org, MoveOn.org, and/or Air America Radio.

It's funny now that I am calling you two the exact same things you call Republicans, suddenly you're trying to explain why you suck Dem butt. But all it does is show what two-faced, moronic, Libtarded mindless parrot lemmings you are.

You two are pathetically funny, but sad at the same time. It's almost no fun making fun of you because you make it so easy.

Keep apologizing for Obama and your DNC owners and the rest of us will keep laughing at you.

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

Again you dodge, weave and distract from the facts. You personally attack me and McCaskey and attack Media Matters, but you don’t even try dispute our argument. Why? Because you know we’re right. Which must be why you’re so angry all the time.

If you two morons expect people to take you seriously, you should look at who is behind the websites you claim to be gospel.

Do you really expect thinking people to take you seriously when you claim MediaMatters.org as your source when the staff of media matters contains 34 out of 44 admitted Democrats? Of the other staff, 9 do not claim any party affiliation and only 1 claims to be Republican.

Or can I go ahead and use NewsMax.com as a factual and 100% unbiased source now?

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

No...it's because we know you are clueless assholes...Soros funds media matters through the Democracy Alliance ...

One question sensor, why does foxnews kick the shit out of all the cable networks on ratings?

out it's time slot competitors? Do you think that's quality TV?

Do you think that 'ratings' indicate the quality of what's being broadcasted, whether it's prime-time entertainment shows or cable news channels?

Fox has always had higher ratings compared to its competitors; if it meant anything Republicans/conservatives would win every election. It doesn't and they don't. They certainly didn't in Nov. of '08 or Nov. of '06, to take two recent examples.

Last week's top 25 cable shows

I don't see any Fox News shows on that list. I do see reruns of Family Guy, an HBO show, and a couple of WWE matches. But somehow this means Fox News kicks the shit out of all the cable networks.

“This doesn’t have to do with the Black Panthers; this has to do with their fantasies about how they could use this issue to topple the [Obama] administration,” said Thernstrom, who said members of the commission voiced their political aims “in the initial discussions” of the Panther case last year.
“My fellow conservatives on the commission had this wild notion they could bring Eric Holder down and really damage the president,” Thernstrom said in an interview with POLITICO.

'Moreover, as others have pointed out, the district at which these two members of the NBPP were filmed was a majority black district that had gone overwhelmingly for John Kerry in 2004. If these two guys were really interested in intimidating white voters in the Philadelphia metro area rather than engaging in street theater, they would’ve shown up at a polling place in King of Prussia or Bensalem, not one in the inner-city at which, conveniently a guy with a video camera had shown up.
As I noted in an earlier post, there’s no evidence that any actual voters were intimidated by these two men, or even that their “protest” lasted longer than the amount of time that the camera crew was there filming them'.

No, Wolfman the point is that the administration was so hell bent on reacting to a charge of racism that they failed to do any due diligence on this video. They are so worried about appearances that they would fire a woman without even talking with her about the problem. It was clear from the video that although in the end she learned a lesson, that her initial reaction to the "white man" was that she didn't want to give him the "full force" because he was acting "superior". It's curious though that the audience found her intial response so funny and accepted it as though it were the right one.

Any statement I make is the opinion of me exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is generally permitted.

No its the fact that the racist tea party/conservative radio/cable consistently slant the news to conform to their world view. The daily Show with Jon Steward points this out almost daily on his cable show. Listening to the race baiting between you and BW is one example. Making fun of black Obama voters or Toledo city workers with your taped audio doesn't help either. Listening to the racist syndicated Rushbo (that your station carries) making fun of the black dialect is it any wonder that the Obama administration is sensitive to the divisive charge of racism? If you were called a big fat dumb slob by your classmates every day you too Fred would be sensitive if the school principle announcing to the class you failed your grade.
No the race baiting continues with conservative websites/FoxNews posting edited video of parts of her speech. I bet if I gathered all of your radio stations audio I could put together a racist tape (without editing) that would have Jessi Jackson knocking at your door. I don't know how this country can go forward with half hating the other half so much that they are willing to take down the country as a whole. All the while we are stuck on race the real criminals steal this country blind. No Fred your station is part of the problem everyday "the station" hosts extreme right wing wackos from well funded so-called think tanks that are sponsored by Corporate America fueling more disinformation. The conservative movement should face the fact that their control of the economy for over the past decade caused the Great Recession and stop using race baiting to further divide the country.

Statements made are the opinion of the writer who is exercising his first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and are generally permitted.

Wolfie says "Listening to the racist syndicated Rushbo (that your station carries) making fun of the black dialect is it any wonder that the Obama administration is sensitive to the divisive charge of racism"?
Its all your fault Fred you and your radio show have caused the Obama administration to become sensitive to the divisive charge of racism. What influence you have, good job you have brought awarness to the divisive charge of racism, isn't that a good thing? Oh! Wow, the Conservative movement has caused the Great Recession within the past decade , LMAO. Watch out Fred Jessi Jackson's coming to your house to call you whitey.

No she didn't! The tape was edited to make it look like she said that. That's what is so fucked up about the entire thing. Hell, even Glenn Beck is saying she should get her job back. This was a hatchet job by Breitbart and Fox News. Go watch the video I posted above if you dare.

Miss Sherrod says the white house wanted her fired...and you calling her a liar?

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

How can you say nothing was edited? My post above has footage of the same event that your video doesn't! Not only did she help the "white farmer" in question, they love her and credit her for saving their farm.

I think the Obama adminstation fucked up by taking anything Breitbart or Fox News reports as reality and acting on that reality.

Oh I understand the new rushed out liberal talking point is that it was "edited"...meaning stuff was removed....yet what was posted was called an "excerpt"or a "clip"...you might want to look up the terms before you rush off to be embarrassed yet again..

Tell me...at what time marks are the "edits" in the following "clip"

Where are the edits in this clip?

And why oh why....didnt the NAACP look at it's OWN FOOTAGE BEFORE CALLING FOR HER TO BE FIRED!

Here's the FULL video...43 minutes...oh look..it's from the NAACP...

Becuase they are dumbass race baiters that's why...all they did was panic...LMAO!!!

2:13...it's good place to work cuz you cant lose your job!!!

LMAO...wanna bet?

.

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Boy, this sounds familar, have you been talking to Wolfie and McCaskey, and Purnhrt. ITS NOT TRUE THE TAPE HAS BEEN EDITED, ALTERED, TRANSFORMED. Nothing is as you see it, its a Republican hatchet job. No its called you are out of touch with reality, a complete disconnect......

"DTOM" {1776} " We The People" {1791}

Again - did you watch the the entire video? She says her initial reaction was wrong and it wasn't about black and white people, but helping poor people regrardless of race. She kicked ass for these people and saved their farm.

Are you saying the video wasn't altered to take things out of context to display the exact opposite of the message she was trying to tell?

Hell even Glenn Beck see it, which gives me a good indication of how bat shit crazy the wing nuts are on swamp bubbles.

It's called a clip....if channel 11 shows up and films 45 minutes of footage...do they put 45 minutes of footage on the 11 oclock news?...or a clip?

The hillarious part is that the NAACP had ALL the footage...yet didnt even review it before they freaked out...

"Hell even Glenn Beck see it, which gives me a good indication of how bat shit crazy the wing nuts are on swamp bubbles."

Look up...look WAY up...I posted Becks reaction first...and he beat the NAACP to it by HOURS...as I pointed out...

What's funny is you guys falling all over yourselves to cover up for stupidity on the part of the NAACP and the odumba possee...

It's precious....

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

With your type of logic most of the people from European decent should be fired.

Whew, I'm sure glad that the liberal media never "creatively edits" anything.

P.S. in case you forgot, the "racist white man with the assault rifle and pistol" was actually a black man.

I just watched the video...not even close the same thing.

You are the perfect tool....actualy what the liberal press did in this case was much worse....they flat out LIED.

The guy they claimed was white...is clearly black...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

....that THIS GUY with the assault rifle was a racist. Or not. Or white. Or in fact that anyone tied to the groups was white or black. They said that there is a feeling that race plays a significant role in some of the turbulence, as well as anger at government intrusion.

And there were apparently dozens of people armed, not just one man. (some reports say - I can't quite confirm that)

And it wasn't very good or insightful commentary.

Haven't YOU been saying that race (reverse-racism) has been in the forefront since Obama took office? You sure post a lot about it.

WOW....the quote

" and here you have WHITE PEOPLE showing up with guns"

after cutting of the black guys head because it doesnt fit the liberal mantra that the tea party is racist...they are clearly IMPLYING it....that's the impression you are supposed to get...that's why dogboy ever faithfully screeches about Tea party racism..

That's why Punhurts said that she views the tea party and resistance to Obama as a form of TREASON

"Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness."

The TRUTH is far from the democrat racebaiting retoric:

http://factreal.wordpress.com/2010/07/23/history-the-first-blacks-in-con...

And once again:

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

It is and will continue to be a political attack card to try and temper the Tea Party movement and impact on more moderate voters. Absolutely. And everyone loses when race is used inappropriately in that way, as it obfuscates the existing real issues by polarizing people into attack and defense camps. (and the Tea Party will still yell "socialists", as if that is an apropos term for the attempted change - that's part of their attack strategy)

One of my great disappointments of the first two years of this presidency is how polarized things remain, even grown - Republicans seem to be on a path of non-participation and obstruction, hoping that a slow recovery and cries of socialism will help them win back a congressional majority, and democrats, instead of taking a moment when they are in the driver seat, seem resigned to plug as much through as they can before they potentially (probably) lose majority in November.

Information is power they had to dump her just like Van Jones. Could not afford for this story to real heat up...reexamine your interpretation of the story

"DTOM" {1776} " We The People" {1791}

Let's see...white farmers who dealt directly with her say she wasn't a racist and video was probably cut, diced and spliced.

Manufactured right-wing political stink bomb....

The "story" here is the blatent overreaction out of panic by the NAACP and the Whitehouse...

LMAO!!!!!!!!

No. The story here is that people need to stop lying on each other. It's disheartening to see that people will condem each other when another group refuses to accept being treated like pets.

You actually use Olbermann as an example?? It's a wonder the guy can even get a word out with 0bama's prick in his mouth. MSNBC is possibly THE most left leaning of all the media outlets.

I afraid I don't understand what a conservative is. Too many times I hear or see what is described as conservative views it contains information that encourages people to deny other people their rights, steal their money, and throw them in jail or kill them if they resist. Some views even talk about over-throwing our present form of government. I consider myself as a political conservative, but I don't share any of these views. So, could someone please explain what is meant by a conservative? Could someone explain why anyone would want someone else to steal their money. More importantly, why would anyone be critical of, or hurt anyone, who would defend themselves against all these things?
