WOW...such a short word and seems simple, yet not quite big enough to cover my thoughts right now.
First, l think as a community we should welcome back the students that have started or are starting school. They most likely are entering new classrooms and who can't remember that nervousness in the pit of your stomach when you started school. Who is my teacher? What am I going to wear? Will he/she like me? Maybe the kids won't sit by me at lunch.
We have all had these thoughts in our younger days starting school; at one time or another. Let's keep in mind how fragile some children really are and that they are just kids.
Second, Teachers are so very important to our children and I do believe that Toledo has been blessed with some of the best. We need to remember that they sacrifice so much for our children. Even some friends I had growing up are now teachers in Toledo and I am honored to say "I knew them when"!
Third, Let's remember that if someone decides to give a "pro tip", like Jeremy Bumhower of recently, we should keep in mind that in this case it would make him a pro at asking people for money.
Fourth, it is equally important to remember that Mrs. Semelka also known as her mafia name "The Nana" seems to agree with him constantly on everything and obviously never researches much herself. Maybe "The Nana" needs to learn the power of thinking on her own.
Fifth...or lastly....I find it interesting that Webb, Johnson, Kiser, and someone with the last name Hughes are so quick to jump on the party train.
I would offer a pro tip, however I don't have experience in asking people for money and I don't rely on a Blogger with a record for advice.
