Vote tomorrow November 4th! Remember the Republicans are after your Social Security money. The immortal words of the late George Carlin in 2005 sums it up best. Enjoy!!!
Ryan’s Budget Would Cut $5 Trillion in Spending Over a Decade
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/02/us/politics/paul-ryan-budget.html
Quote from article:
Mr. Ryan, the House Budget Committee chairman and a possible White House contender in 2016, laid out a budget plan that cuts $5 trillion in spending over the next decade. He said it would bring federal spending and taxes into balance by 2024, through steep cuts to Medicaid and food stamps, and the total repeal of the Affordable Care Act just as millions are reaping the benefits of the law.
Defense spending would increase. Domestic programs would be reduced to the lowest levels since modern government accounting. And Medicare would be converted into a “premium support” system, where people 65 and older could buy private insurance with federal subsidies instead of government-paid health care.

Sounds like we pee'd in your corn flakes.

...to be put on suicide watch with the rest of the left wing flamers and commie libtards......

BUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Yep, I hate it when the people speak--it's so, so anti-Socialistic.

(Note to school kids: You may now get a lunch with actual food.)

Actually the school kids now will get no lunch and have to go to the lunch wagons lined up in front of the school. Springfield will cut busing and other historic school functions as the homeowner cannot afford the burden that once was supplied by state government. The low information voter thinks 2 + 2 = 5. Their anger can be seen in the Springfield and Bedford school levy failures. They vote down local levies but reelect the same state representatives who cut local revenue sharing to the schools. The election was a win for out of state dark money contributors who will continue to extract their pound of flesh at the homeowners expense.

Childhood obesity is an epidemic. The problem isn't what their eating it's their lack of activity. Walking to school could serve to make them healthier.

Also, the Democrats spent more in "Dark Money" in this campaign than the GOP did. Sorry to bust your narrative though. http://prospect.org/article/top-5-senate-races-where-dark-money-and-outs... You don't have to spend as much when you have a better message.

MikeyA

I don't know about your article but in my district it was a landslide against Democrats. Dark Money outspent us about ten to one. In fact I've written to a couple of newspapers asking for numbers. The facts are Dark Money does not report spending so how can anyone find that number? I've said this before I'm against all out side spending in fact I'm for public spending to get our rights back as voters. https://movetoamend.org/

As for your better message I offer this history lesson:

The Volksempfänger (German for "people's receiver") was a range of radio receivers developed by engineer Otto Griessing at the request of Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels.

The purpose of the Volksempfänger-program was to make radio reception technology affordable to the general public. Joseph Goebbels realized the great propaganda potential of this relatively new medium and thus considered widespread availability of receivers highly important.

The original Volksempfänger VE301[1] model was presented on August 18, 1933 at the 10. Große Deutsche Funkausstellung in Berlin. The VE301 was available at a readily affordable price of 76 German Reichsmark (equivalent to two weeks' average salary), and a cheaper 35 Reichsmark model, the DKE38 (sometimes called Goebbels-Schnauze – "Goebbels' snout" – by the general public) fitted with a multisection tube, was also later produced, along with a series of other models under the Volksempfänger, Gemeinschaftsempfänger, KdF (Kraft durch Freude), DKE (Deutscher Kleinempfänger) and other brands.
1936 Nazi propaganda poster, promoting the use of the Volksempfänger. The translated text reads, "All of Germany hears the Führer with the People's Receiver."

The Volksempfänger was designed to be produced as cheaply as possible, as a consequence they generally lacked shortwave bands and did not follow the practice, common at the time, of marking the approximate dial positions of major European stations on its tuning scale. Only German and Austrian stations were marked and cheaper models only listed arbitrary numbers. Sensitivity was limited to reduce production costs further, so long as the set could receive Deutschlandsender and the local Reichssender it was considered sensitive enough, although foreign stations could be easily received after dark with an external antenna.[2]

Listening to foreign stations became a criminal offence in Nazi Germany when the war began, while in some occupied territories, such as Poland, all radio listening by non-German citizens was outlawed (later in the war this prohibition was extended to a few other occupied countries coupled with mass seizures of radio sets[3]). Penalties ranged from fines and confiscation of radios to, particularly later in the war, sentencing to a concentration camp or capital punishment. Nevertheless, such clandestine listening was widespread in many Nazi-occupied countries and (particularly later in the war) in Germany itself. The Germans also attempted radio jamming of some enemy stations with limited success. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volksempf%C3%A4nger

Dark money doesn't have to disclose it's donors. It does have to disclose what it spends and on what doing so in a monthly or quarterly basis. Additionally, for t.v. and radio ad time the prices of which are public knowledge as the stations provide what they charge during what times so it's fairly easy for watchdogs to figure out how much is spent.

As for the rest of your post. Show me where anyone was prohibited by law from listening to the political message of any side during this election? There are more news and information sources available today than at any other time in history. There is no lack of information for those who seek it.

MikeyA

I'll give you that they do report to the IRS but most of those reports won't be seen for months by the public. As for being able to not listen to the political propaganda I can say all media outlets in this area were swamped with ads. My mailbox never seen such amounts of campaign propaganda. My computer was even subjected to this crap. Dark money is even been breaking the law and working with candidates to organize their combined attacks. This was all about big money control and the voter is the loser.

And I've already posted a link that shows Democrats benefited the most from the use of Dark Money and... it had little to no effect on the end result.

When both sides spend lots of money they generally cancel each other out. The responsibility is and always is on the voter to educate themselves on the issues and candidates. Doing so gives us a better government.

I can tell you Dems were out spent in Monroe and Lenawee county by a huge amount. Junk mail I received, newsprint and radio and TV buys were solidly in the Republican camp. On Tuesday I spent the day in Adrian as a volunteer and WLEN radio ran a Walberg/Zorn ad every ten minutes ALL DAY LONG. The Dems about one every hour. No the Democrats were out spent in Southeast Michigan. The low information voter heard Dark Money lies and it turned them off or they voted against their best interests. Do you think the American voter wants the Ryan Budget? Hell no! Have you looked at the Ryan budget that the Republicans voted for last year? Do you think that voters want less regulation of Wall Street? Do you think voters want cuts to Medicare and Social Security? Do you think voters want more spending on bloated military over infrastructure spending? No the Republican party has gerrymandered and voter suppressed the country to a point where the public has thrown up their hands and said screw it!

"I can tell you Dems were out spent in Monroe and Lenawee county by a huge amount." You're telling me that.... but you have no proof of it.

"On Tuesday I spent the day in Adrian as a volunteer and WLEN radio ran a Walberg/Zorn ad every ten minutes ALL DAY LONG. The Dems about one every hour." So you're telling me that talk radio, that has a higher listenership amongst Republicans, had a lot of Republican ads! I'm shocked!

"The low information voter heard Dark Money lies and it turned them off or they voted against their best interests." Already proved this wrong. Those who paid the most attention went GOP, GOP ended up victorious. This was not due to "low information voters". You can't cite any proof proving me wrong, yet I can cite a number of public opinion polls.

"No the Republican party has gerrymandered and voter suppressed the country to a point where the public has thrown up their hands and said screw it!" You are a low information voter and this quote proves it.

You can't gerrymander Senate seats and Governorships. The GOP took both of those decisively. Translation: The public WANTED the GOP in control of the Senate and their states by a wide majority. I saw a stat the other day 49.7% of the country will live in a state completely under GOP control for the next two years, that happens by the will of the people not gerrymandering. Nice try at throwing up used talking points though.

Low-information Paul just doesn't get it.

MikeyA

Führer befiel, wir folgen!

Sadly for Mr "Independent" (i.e. left-wing wack-job neo-Marxist), the real low information voter thinks that you can keep borrowing 100s of billions of federal dollars forever.

He would if a union boss told him you couldn't. But the unions like keeping their people low information as well.
