MikeyA this is not meant for trolls. Informational site to be shared by threatened Fulton County property owners. Other site, "Gas Pipeline informational meeting to be held at Napoleon Legion Hall" http://swampbubbles.com/blogs/mrindependent/20140907/gas-pipeline-inform... has had 866 hits so the subject matter is popular outside the regular SB crowd. Thank you!

You reposted the same shit. Just to drive views to your shitty opinion. This is becoming too common with you. It takes away from discussion that people actually care about.

Troll you need not respond to every thread posted here on SwampBubbles. It gives the Blog a bad following when trolls feel the need to slander every post that does not affect them especially when they do not live in the area. USMC Marines must have something for you to do other than post comments from California.
Troll you can join your talk show host friend 1370 WSPD Fred at https://www.facebook.com/1370wspd?ref=br_tf On his radio show he's publicly supported the pipelines in Fulton County. http://www.wspd.com/media/podcast-dock-treece-on-demand-docktreece/1020-...

Apology to Cassie Wilson
SUBMITTED BY MRINDEPENDENT ON FRI, 2010-08-27 00:55.
Apology to Cassie Wilson
I have falsely stated on this website that Cassie Wilson was fired and/or laid off from her employment at WSPD and Clear Channel. This is a lie. Mrs. Wilson voluntarily resigned her position as Director of News Operations in May, 2009. I regret implying otherwise and offer this public apology to Mrs. Wilson and will cease writing any statements in the future about status, her marriage, or her public records.

Don't be dissuaded by Lawyers and Farm Bureau bureaucrats who want you to settle! THERE IS ANOTHER WAY! The third way is to fight all the way through eminate domain. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROJECT! Eminate domain is for public projects for the common good. The pipeline is a PRIVATE FOR PROFIT PROJECT that only lines the pockets of its investors while exporting American produced gas to foreign markets. Many of you have now seen the open house surveys and it ain't lookin good! A 36 to 42 inch high pressure pipeline 50 foot from homes is not a safe distance in my opinion. Medina County has reported pipelines going under barns, under ponds, under just about everything! Do you thing the money that the lawyers want you to settle for will compensate for property devaluation and a long term lease that YOU will have to pay taxes on the property that is under easement forever? Think again this is your land and a possible dangerous leaking pipeline will devastate you and your neighbors. Again look at the videos. Do you want this hazard in an area of many homes mixed with woods? A public hazard for all in the Oak Openings region where sensitive parkland and forests create huge environmental risks. Move the damn pipeline west in open farm country where the risks are minimal.

The Citizens in Michigan are submitting FERC comments now.
Here is a sample.

China Twp., MI.
To whom it may concern,
I am a resident in China Township, Michigan within St. Clair County.
I am writing in reference to Docket # PF-14-14-000.
In May of 1990, my wife and I purchased the 10 acre parcel of land in which we currently reside, with the intentions of building our first home. Since our parcel was double in size compared to neighboring lots, we decided to build on the South side of our property, with future plans to build our dream home on the Northern section of the parcel. In the summer of 1991 we broke ground and by fall of same year we took occupancy. Now, we’re amidst planning the construction of our next home, again on the Northern portion of our property.
When we purchased our property in 1991, we were well aware that there was an existing gas transmission pipeline which crossed our land, but it was not of concern since its location was toward the back side of our lot and would not interfere with our planned home locations. Then, to our surprise, in 1996 another gas pipeline was proposed by Great Lakes Gas Transmission and it too would cross our property. Since the original easement agreement with the previous property owner allowed for it, we had absolutely no recourse and this second pipeline was also installed. So today, we have two 36 diameter gas lines passing through our property, but at least both are in same proximity and thus far have not been a major obstacle. Of course this still does raise some safety concern and has already caused diminution to the value of our real estate.
This past August, we received a surprise phone call from a representative from ET Rover, another gas transmission organization. We were informed that they too were considering installing a third major gas line in our vicinity, but was told this one would not likely cross our property because this proposed new line would likely parallel the North side of the previously installed pipe lines. They requested our permission for survey crews to walk our land and establish where the existing two lines are located, so we of course were cooperative and signed the necessary approvals to allow access. Since this time, we have been monitoring the surveying activity in our neighborhood and recently we were invited to an open house held by ET Rover in Metamora, Michigan. We took interest and my wife and I attended, only to find out by pure coincidence that the application by ET Rover for said gas line installation (Docket # PF14-14-000) is being submitted to FERC in January 2015, and they have full intentions of crossing through the middle of the Northern portion of our property, pretty much the entire depth of the parcel which is approximately 1018 feet. Needless to say, we were quite surprised and disappointed to say the least.
As you can imagine, this newly discovered information has caused us a lot of grief and grave concern. Not only does such a gas line installation preclude us building a new home on the Northern portion of our parcel, but such a project will definitely lower the resale value of our existing home and property much, much, more than what the other two pipelines has already done. No one will ever be interested in purchasing our existing home knowing there is 1000 feet of 42 inch diameter high pressure gas transmission line running in such close proximity to our home. And, what is even more disturbing to us is that our long term plans would be compromised with a new pipeline installation, especially since we have already been imposed upon with two previous gas line installations. It is simply not fair that any one land owner should be inconvenienced so many times when there are several thousand other parcels without pipeline easements in our area, many of which would be just as well suited for such a project. It is absolutely ridiculous that such a large company as ET Rover, with extensive financial resources, is not forced to establish another route for their proposed pipeline; one which does not take advantage of lands owners / families whom have already made sacrifices and been inconvenienced.
In addition to the above, it should be noted that ET Rover seems to be approaching this project in a very deceitful manner and it has caused quite a recus in our local community. For instance, ET Rover has not fully disclosed their proposal with our local township officials, have yet to contact my wife and I to discuss their intentions with our personal property (we happen to discover it by mere coincidence), and several of our neighbors are also clueless of what may come to be and how it could influence their property value, safety, and security. And to exemplify even more about their deceitful practices, the aerial topography maps provided by ET Rover to our local library are not accurate; the graphics represent different line installation areas than what they intend to submit along with their application to FERC this coming January.
In summary, my wife and I have always been cooperative citizens and we fully understand the importance of such pipeline installations for the goodness of all. However, this particular project and this particular organization (ET Rover) are infringing upon our rights and privileges as private land owners, and this will cause incomprehensible hardship for many, many people if this project is approved by your organization. Ourselves, and my immediate neighbors do not deserve to be imposed upon any more than already has been, with the existing two gas transmission lines already in our neighborhood. If a third pipeline is deemed absolutely necessary, an alternative route should be sought, one which does not pass through our vicinity at all, and especially not in the neighborhood of McKinley Road, between Fred Moore Highway and St. Clair Highway, in China township.
Thank you for your consideration!

Lame one-sided interview on WSPD 1370 AM Toledo radio. Host would not allow equal time for affected homeowners/landowners. http://www.wspd.com/media/podcast-fred-lefebvre-podcasts-Fred/1029-arthu...

E-mail from affected landowner:

I tried to call in. The young man that answered the call said they do not normally take calls. He put me on hold and talked to Fred L (the host). Fred said not now and not ever because I was from outside their listening area.
I continued to plead with the young man our case RE: protecting our property rights and freedom to choose whether this pipeline came onto our property.
I asked for equal time on air. He eventually took my telephone number.
We should continue to hound Fred for equal time.
Paul L Gierosky

Funny but Arthur Diestel of Spectra Energy is from outside the area and another local caller from Fulton County Road B was not allowed to respond to the propaganda interview.

an opportunity to comment on any issue he chooses to cover. As far as I know, the "equal time" provisions deal with elections only, not to coverage of issues by media outlets.

Fred is in a very competitive business. His job is to keep and increase listeners. The number of listeners translates directly into how much advertising revenue the station generates. Fred made it crystal clear that his posts here, and everything he does in the public, are designed to keep and increase the number of listeners he has for his program. If, in his opinion, his listeners want a one-sided view of an issue, Fred will deliver that view. That's his job.

The so-called WSPD "news" station will lose the pipeline issue if it doesn't play in a fair and equatable way. WSPD was boycotted from all major players in the recent Jeep Wrangler story. Their reputation as a biased one-sided radio station has hurt its image in the community. Just a matter of time before the residents of Fulton County realize the threat to their health and lifetime investment. The money paid for leases do not in any way cover the loss to property values. Putting a highly dangerous 36" high pressure natural gas pipeline fifty feet from your home is a travesty and the story is just beginning to be told with or without WSPD.

It's a business...and a highly competitive business at that! As long as they keep their listeners, they will continue to cater to those who are most likely to listen. It's just that simple.
And...who ever told you that life is fair? If they did so, they lied!

You should sue!

I am curious by what Paul means by Troll?

In the last 48 hours he's made a post, replied to IT providing little new information... multiple times, responded to a posted... that was four years old to insult someone who doesn't post here, gives out linkes to the facebook page of someone who is not a part of this community (and I encourage everyone to go to the page and tell the owner it's posted here... because that's OBVIOUSLY what Paul wants us to do). Hmmm... that sounds like the work of something.... oh yeah.. the internet defines that behavior as a troll.

Quick question Paul. Why would you say USMC Marines? That LITERALLY translates into United States Marine Corps Marines. Do you work for the Department of Redundancy Department?

BTW, my thoughts on facebook are well documented.

You can't update an infrastructure when the majority of taxpayer dollars are paying for Obama phones, Obamacare, and illegal immigrants.

I have it on good authority that Arthur Diestel, Spectra Energy spokesman, will be on the #1 Morning Show in Toledo, Fred on WSPD 1370. Arthur will be discussing the Nexus pipeline.

Calls will be taken! As long as they remain within the bounds of good taste that is.
