Quote from Huffington Post article:

NEW YORK -- More than 400,000 people turned out for the People's Climate March in New York City on Sunday, just days before many of the world's leaders are expected to debate environmental action at the United Nations climate summit.
Early reports from event organizers are hailing the turnout as the largest climate march in history, far bigger than the Forward on Climate rally held in Washington, D.C., last year.

This is liberals at their best. People travelled from around the world. Assuming that these people didn't walk or swim from their home countries--didn't they just unnecessarily add to the (fabled) carbon footprint? Morons all.

I'm sure they all had trash bags to pick up litter while they were walking the city streets. Right?

Radical leftists clamor for socialism, revolution at 'People’s Climate March'

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Okay--so they hate capitalism, but they are carrying signs and wearing t-shirts that were printed by a dreaded profit-seeking company, arriving at the event in planes and cars that were produced by some of the largest corporations in the world, etc., etc.

Sadly, their intellectual depravity does not allow them to see the irony of their ways.

Those Australians have a lot of kangaroo-produced dung that is ruining the climate. These marches will clear that up.

Exactly. Everyone who climbed aboard an international airline flight massively increased their contribution towards the 'carbon footprint'. For a Western idiot, just one such flight doubles their carbon contribution.

Environmentalism truly begins at home. But, that means (OH! OH! OH! NO!) individual responsibility, combined with (OH! OH! OH! NO!) a reduced standard of living. The average environmentalist retard is an energy-hogging Liberalism-addled Westerner who undoubtedly wastes enough resources each year to industrialize/capitalize one or more Third World families. A real environmentalist knows that he has to reduce his own consumption first. He has to increase his own energy and material-resource efficiency first. Marches and protests are just a public exercise in subtractive futility... they demonstrate the marchers are only looking for a scapegoat for their own personal failings.

Romney's not an example of environmentally sound living. Nor is your own lifestyle, particularly when you take a flight to make some sort of hypocritical protest against pollution. Like I said, that one flight doubled your carbon emissions for the year. Environmentalism starts at home, not by making pointless examples of what rich people do. Rich people can do whatever they want; THEY'RE RICH, so that's what 'rich' means. The middle class can't keep up, and nor should they try.

You Golden Class, however, keep trying, and you borrow hugely and have the government wrapped around your pension-sticky fingers in order to keep up the pretense. Which is why rational people despise you.

Actually, I think it's kinda nice that these misfits have an event that they can participate in. They probably sat around in their parents' basements for months thinking up snappy sayings to put on their signs.

I feel the climate not changing already!

Rod Stewart drew ten times the number of people to a concert http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_concerts , Hell even Woodstock was bigger than this "world's largest climate march". Perspective people.

Oh really?

Bomb threat. Trash cans removed.

That's not what the article states. Care to cite a resource that has the information you're claiming next time?

It'll help if you read the article.

Comment sections are not reliable sources. Do you believe everything on the internet? Like the crowned prince of Nigeria needing your bank account so he can get his money and he'll reward you handsomely?

I mean if you can't put full trust into anonymous people on the internet who can you trust?

BTW everyone. Commentors on the website www.4chan.org are reporting the first iphone 6 hack! It can be charged wirelessly by putting it in your microwave!!!!! Buy one now!
