Ronald Reagan the Democrat

Boy if Obama only had him today! The issues he raises are still with us 65 years later. Love his Taft-Hartley Act comments. The Taft-Hartley law (1947) brought us Right-to-Work in the south by Republicans. Labor leaders of that time called it the "slave-labor bill. Ronald Reagan agrees!

so much in the 1970s? Could it be that President Reagan's dementia started long before the 1990s?
Seriously, the so-called conservative icon, Ronald Reagan who governed in the 1980s, could not get the Republican nomination today with the same views he held then. For example, Ronald Reagan's idea was to lower marginal income tax rates enough so that there would be no justifiable reason to give a special tax break to money earned from investments rather than from hard work and/or entrepreneurial risk and effort, a tax break which offers the greatest advantage to those with the greatest wealth. After his tax cuts were passed by bi-partisan votes, Reagan ran up significant (for the time) budget deficits year after year in office, doubling the total national debt before he left office. How would that square with today's Tea Party supporters?
I do remember Democratic Speaker of the House, Tip O'Neill, declaring at the time that if President Reagan sent a balanced budget plan to the House of Representative, the Speaker would see to it that the plan would be on the House floor for a vote within 48 hours.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/06/05/reagan.health/ Former President Ronald Reagan died Saturday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 93.

Reagan led a conservative revolution that set the economic and cultural tone of the 1980s, hastened the end of the Cold War and revitalized the Republican Party. He suffered from Alzheimer's disease since at least late 1994.

Greed will make people convert to becoming Republican.

So will an education, and the realization that what you earn with your own hard work should be yours to keep.

Why don't you play this video on you silly show? As a piss poor entertainer this would generate quite a few confederate flag waving hillbillies out their in the hither-lands. When I'm scanning the AM dial I love it when those tabacky chewing folks call in. I can just picture them in my mind wearing their NRA caps driving their Toyota pickups.

DMHI it would make no sense to play a video on a radio show. I don't know if you are aware of how radio works so I've included a short video that explains both AM and FM

I don't mean to correct you but did you mean hinter lands? Enjoy the video, I hope it clears up any misconceptions you have about using video on radio.

I hope that didn't sound too snarky. I should know from your previous posts on radio that your knowledge of how they operate is woefully lacking. I harken back to your promotion of 1470 as an alternative to WSPD when it switched to talk format. You were so enamored of new voices like Geraldo and Huckabee offering new, more moderate opinions. Now Huckabee is stopping his show and Geraldo is losing his syndication deal because only you listen to him. That alone should have tipped me off to your complete ignorance of radio, but I gave you the benfit of the doubt DMHI.
Like many businesses, radio is successful when it offers a product people want, it's not based on the number of outlets. There are so many sources availabe to people who want music and talk but they choose CC for a reason. Sorry you are losing your alternative voice in the market.

Fredo you do know that videos have two components, picture and sound. This video is formatted to optimize the sound portion. I hope that clears up your mental confusion but I doubt it.

The Whitehouse hillbillies would love this video and probably would generate some crank calls so you can cruise through your three hour stint relaxing in your lazyboy. Hell even rural Wood county would get out their ARs and a least clean them while listening to this hate radio piece. Might even unfurl the "Don't Tread on Me" flag out by the politically incorrect latrine. Fredo I wonder what they think of you driving that Shriner mobile (Prius) out there in rural America.

Oh see here is what you posted "Why don't you play this video on you silly show". Now if you had said take the audio from these videos and play it on air, I would have understood. Now as to the reaction from listeners it's really hard to tell since as you may or may not know I can't see them. Your experience with these reactions might be different then mine, maybe even something you've done yourself since you and your relatives grew up on farms. I don't care what they think of the Prius evidenced by my mentioning it on air numerous times. I have used the "union" audio on air before to show the full context of the statement and the fact that it didn't relate to public sector unions, but only private unions which I don't have a problem with, in fact I still hold my IFCWU card from my days in the grocery stores. This has not been a banner day for you has it.

I predict Reagan's support for Truman will make no difference. Dewey will win in a landslide.

Patience is a great virtue.

Now you sound like DMHI

Donwert is a soothsayer.

Treasonous Republican Richard Nixon kills thousands of American GIs to get elected president. Republican Ronald Reagan does the same thing in 1980 to get elected president. George W Bush is appointed president by the Supreme Court after voter fraud in Florida. His brother Gov Jeb Bush works the vote in Florida. So we have not had a legitimate Republican President since Eisenhower.
