WLQR-AM 1470 Talk Radio starting August 13th!

Finally some competition in the Toledo talk radio market. Monday August 13th WLQR-AM 1470 will begin to broadcast talk radio. I suggest that Cumulus should include a local radio host to give balance to its one sided competitor. This could give the local AM radio monopoly a needed kick-in-the-pants. Sort of a wake up call to the Hate Radio that has spewed unanswered for too long in Toledo. By the way starting Monday 1470-AM will have Don Imus on from 6 to 9 AM and Dave Ramsey from 3 to 6 PM.

on the America hating Left !
Chik Fill A, ,is just the most recent example of psychotic Leftist hatred.

Scary Harry Reid;typifies the absolute Leftist liars with his recent walk on the deranged side with lies coughed up by one evil son of a dog.
Jon Lavine-Dim, was Obozo's, money bundler at Bain Capitol when GST Steel died a slow & miserable death...in 2002, 4 years after Mitt, split !!
Added to all of that is OweBaMaoscare Health Scarenightmare, with its pure racist agenda regarding minority dictates for medical schools, dental schools, hospital hiring and more !

HATE: is a long standing Dim tradition disguised as "fairness".

And with their founding of the Ku Klux Klan, with 100% Dim acceptance of KKKleagel-Senator Byrd-D-W.Virginia, the case is made !

FYI: Kleagles, are the folks who enlist others to join ! A KKK high Honor !
Byrd, was , is and forever will be your Man of HATE !!

Part of the new lineup that the poster is excited about listening to-

Before you get your panties in a wad this will drain some of your voyeuristic listeners that only listen for the background noise. I see your finally driving a American made GM Sierra. I find it laughable that you spend your time bashing union made vehicles and now you promote this truck. Too Funny! Shilling for the boss no doubt. I like to think your nasty hate speech has come around and bit you in the back side. God its just sooo funny that you now are promoting union made trucks while the Red Neck boss in Virginia is driving the Toyota. I guess none of you live by your convictions only the money/ratings matter. Well good luck with some real competition and maybe Matt Spaulding will put a local sane talk show host in Toledo's near future.

Actually it's a 2012 Chevy Silverado. With a Toledo built transmission. I'm happy to drive one around for free for a week and tell people about it. I don't get paid for it so it's not about money or ratings. Chevy knows we have a successful audience, they want to sell products to that audience, they buy advertising. This is what is known in the trade as capitalism. Enjoy the new lineup, they seem to share a lot of your beliefs.

I'm a talk radio junkie. I've downloaded the TuneIn app on my iPad and it's wonderful! You can get radio stations from throughout the world. The best part is that when, for example, Cigar Dave is preempted because of sports, I found a station in Alaska(!) that I can still listen to it.

Interestingly, I think that the advancements in radio technology have made local programming more valuable. I can listen to Limbaugh and Levin on a variety of stations--so that doesn't make me a fan of any particular one--but via TuneIn, I have found non-national talent that I regularly listen to. I like Scott Sloan from AM700 WLW Cincinnati (a former WSPDer), Erik Erickson from AM750 Atlanta, and Frank Beckmann from AM760 WJR Detroit--to name a few.

I can already watch Don Imus on the Fox Business Channel, so I doubt if I'll listen. But I do like Dave Ramsey. I would really love it if 1470 would carry Laura Ingraham's show.

Maybe this station can bring back broadcasting luminary Harold Salverda, an ultra-liberal idiot that hosted a show called "Rap" many years ago on 1470 when it was called "WOHO". He hung up on anyone who said anything remotely conservative.

Galt yes I agree we can find just about anything with the right app but most still depend on the old radio for most of their talk radio. I would hope that 1470 will realize that as you say most of their programing can be heard on other mediums. That said the only thing to differentiate it from others is some local programing and possibly some diversity in its mostly conservative programing line up. Many listen to the local Hate Radio station but are diametrically opposed to its message. Giving Toledo a refreshing choice would be welcome by all.

Can you please post this info on Toledo Talk also? The folks there really need to know about this new outlet for right wing talkers.

I realize it's public record, but Paul has now posted my divorce filing on both here and swampbubbles. i can't imagine what interest my pay stubs and divorce filing might have for readers since nothing is final yet.

The reason for which I linked to the public record that I posted is because it provides information regarding Fred LeFebvre's financial information, including his wages. That is the topic that Fred LeFebvre brings up when addressing the salaries and wages of teachers, other public employees, the roles played by unions in wage determination in the private sector, etc. The fact that the public record is one about marital discord and divorce proceedings is totally tangential; it just happens that is where Fred LeFebvre's financial information can be found.

Well there it is. Concrete proof that I asked JR to remove the poster from TT. I think this would actually hold up in a court of law-NOT.
