Good question.

Good question.

Remember, the people YOU support control the senate and the white house. Why don't you ask them?

Why limit it to just banks. Why is the gov't also bailing out car a solar companies.

I'm about getting the government out of the bailout business across the board instead of limiting it to just one industry.

It's not a good question since there's no point in even asking it, since we don't need more words to handle the problem. It requires action.

Sadly, the U.S. voter to the greatest practical degree is not acting to solve the problem. Over 95% of such voters continue to keep party-aligned Democrats and Republicans in all elected offices, and so the bailouts will just continue, decimating the middle class... the same class that has enough to be worth confiscating with oppressive taxes, but doesn't have enough to defend against such assault. And that doesn't even take into account the voter's personal problems, like his predilection to take on big debts, his avoidance of substantive savings, his willingness to submit to employer demands, etc.

Until the voter acts on his constructive political and personal alternatives, this will only get worse. And it's almost certain to get worse right on schedule to run smack into the Petroleum Emergency that must occur within 30 years. The U.S. economy can't recover under this schedule, since petroleum starvation will destroy its current design at any rate.
