Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story"

"Capitalism: A Love Story"
The Video
On the 20-year anniversary of his groundbreaking masterpiece "Roger & Me," Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story" comes home to the issue he's been examining throughout his career: the disastrous impact of corporate dominance on the everyday lives of Americans. But this time the culprit is much bigger than General Motors, and the crime scene is far wider than Flint, Michigan.

How much money do you suppose Moore has made on this anti-capitalism movie?

Anyone who sees no hypocrisy in that is an idiot.

The difference is that Moore's exercise of capitalism isn't STATIST. If what he's said in the past is anything to go by, for what's likely to be in his latest movie, then the general complaint is that large companies form an unregulated economy of their own.

I think that taxes are too high on everyone, not just the middle class. The rich are taxed too heavily and should keep much of what they earn regardless of source. The same applies to the modest incomes of we middle class. And the same applies to the poor.

Past a slight exclusion amount that applies necessary progressiveness to the tax system, everyone needs to pay and not be excluded from paying. But those payments have to be sharply reduced. I already know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the growth of the federal government will kill the nation sooner or later. Its growth exceeds the combination of wealth inflation and population inflation. We're an empire looking to crash, which only means we're going to burn. And movies like Moore's are an attempt to wake us up before that happens.

Micheal Moore is so fat he got on the scale and it said "To be continued".

Michael Moore is very much a capitalist and only believes in making money. He doesn't really care about the projects he gets involved in. He only wants to make sure people like wolfman thinks of him as a hero and will spend some cash on his films. Michaels' favorite charity is his bank account. He's a taker not a giver and treats the people that work for him on his projects very poorly. He is a good liar though.

Micheal Moore is so fat he sat on a dollar and mad change.

A long, long time ago...
I can still remember how
That politics used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance,
That I could make those politician's tap dance,
And maybe they'd be responsive for a while
But February made me shiver
With every paper I'd deliver,
Bad news on the doorstep...
I couldn't take one more step,
I can't remember if I cried,
When I read about the Republican slide,
But something touched me deep inside,
The day the party died.
Buy buy Miss AmericanPie,
Drove my party to office (2001) but the office was a lie,
Them good ole boys were drinkin' Kool-aid and jive,
Singing "This'll be the day that I die. ;-)

Man, I wish I would have thought of it first.

Take a cheap video camera, follow around some famous people, ask a bunch of lame-as$ questions and chop it up into a movie that makes a segment of America, the Democrats, feel like someone agrees with them.

Then charge Libtards $10.50 each to come and see the cheaply made movie that caters to their insecurities and the Democraps line up like lemmings eager to throw their money at him!

What a great way to make a ton of money off of the uneducated and hateful. It's like taxing the stupid!

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a

This provided me with about 20 minutes of entertainment. How did you find this?

Sounds like you're talking about the O'keefe guy.

He didn't mention dressing a friend up as a prostitute and/or committing felonies.

There's a city full of walls you can post complaints at

The real irony of Micheal Moore's rise to infamy from insignificance is that it has made him the epitome of the system he claims to despise. Consider General Motors as started by Durant and Mott, both entrepreneurs that likely had no idea GM would become the largest auto manufacturer in the US. Consider also that by all evidence, it is very likely or almost certain that both men had the morals of a chain saw, much like Moore.

Like GM, the general public will eventually cease to regard Moore as the Divine Oracle of the Moonbats, but sadly will fail to crucify him (literally - neither I nor Moore care about figuratively, and neither does anyone else who recognizes Moore for what he is) and will espouse someone else as the Great Truth.

Micheal Moore is so fat he got on the scale and it said "One at a time please"

Why can't wing nuts ever argue the facts? Then again when they're not on your side, it's easier to attack the messenger.

Micheal Moore is so fat he beeps when he backs up.

He should have been the subject of super size me, i didn't like Capitalism A love Story but bowling for columbine was a pretty good documentary forcing some stores to change their policies on guns and ammo. I'm surprised theirs been no documentary by him about wall street, the auto manufacturers etc. A friend of mine is a automobile insurance agent and was telling me about so much more that went on that we didn't hear about in the news.
