I've always done what I could over the years, with what I've got, to help warn our beloved peoples about the German threat to world peace.
Whether by ads or articles or letters to the Editor of newspapers and magazines, since every little bit helps with God's blessing upon it, I do my best to warn the world.
While doing what I can to help warn the world, I've always encouraged the Sabbath-keeping Church of God to do more, to go public and step away from behind the podium (preaching to the choir), to get the Word out and let our God-given message become a household word, known and debated and discussed everywhere. Our God-given message must reach those high and low, rich and poor, regardless of race or religion or we will have failed our God-given mission.
The Greater Toledo, Ohio area has received the lion's share of my efforts, since that's where I'm from, although I've also reached out to Judea, Jerusalem, New York and elsewhere.
This ad (shown below) - Will Germany Launch a Nuclear Attack on America? - appeared several times in The Press newspaper, and a similar ad appeared twice in the AutoTrader (talk about taking it to the streets, reaching the general public!). I've also had a full-page ad in The Toledo City Paper warning about EUROPE'S NEW CRUSADE: "PEACE" FOR THE MIDDLE EAST.

As I've been told on occasion You've got to pick your battles, and I am seeing that trying to reason with Carl/David is a lost cause. Questions are answered with question, and some with mindless, disconnected drivel.

If the Germans actually possessed nuclear weapons, I might be inclined to worry about them, though not as much as I do about rogue nuclear powers Israel, Pakistan, India, North Korea, and perhaps some day Iran. However, they have no nukes, unless you count US nukes on bases in Germany, and the Germans have even been trying to get US nukes removed.

David Ben-Ariel has been around for a while, though I'm not sure how long he has called Toledo his home. He lived in Bowling Green for years before changing his name from David Hoover. I recall reading that he lived in Israel for some time. He came into my radar in 2005 when he penned some strange racist ramblings about the supposed inferiority of African Americans, using the North Toledo riot as "evidence" of the racial superiority of whites (never mind that blacks, whites, Hispanics, and probably a few Asians were in the mob that day).
His combination of millennialist religion and racist politics is hard to characterize; he views the Jews returning to Israel as fulfillment of revealed prophecy, and therefore holds them in some higher esteem than most racialists, but he also views them as doomed unless they convert.
His writings frequently blast those of darker skin colors than his, being typical of racists who tie racial inferiority to certain passages in the Bible, like when Ham saw his father Noah drunk and naked (Genesis 9:20-27).
He was affiliated with the Philadelphia Church of God sect, though he appears to have had some falling out with PCOG founder Gerald Flurry, and he seems to spend a great deal of time in cyber-wars with Flurry and his followers.
Not sure what he actualy does when he's not in full-out spam mode - the Intarwebs are filled with Net drama featuring Ben-Ariel and his virtual enemies.
All in all - a very strange dude who seems to do little beyond trying to promote his book and pimping his websites.

I used the word "rogue" to describe Israel's recalcitrance about its nuclear program. The Israelis refused to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) and steadfastly refuse to allow UN inspectors to examine suspected nuke facilities.
You know, the kind of stuff that gets other countries invaded or sanctioned. Somehow the Israelis do not have to follow the same rules as the Iraqis, the Iranians, the North Koreans, or other "evil" regimes.

Egypt, whose written civilization goes back to before 3,000 B.C. when your ancestors and mine were living in European hovels scratching out stone implements, had developed a high art of astronomy, geometry, sculpture, painting, medicine, and so forth, all of which was the envy of the "civilized " world at the time.

I read the piece by Elias Birayabarema (sp?), which you present as evidence, "facts," that Africa contributes nothing to the world. First of all, the piece is printed out of context in your blog, but I quickly discerned that this is an opinion piece responding to some other writing that appeared in the Kampala Monitor sometime in early 2007. That is hardly factual. What is does tell me is that at least one Ugandan man feels that his nation should be accomplishing more and is restricted from becoming all it can be for a number of reasons. I know a lot of Americans that feel that way, too. It does not logically follow that because one American feels that their nation is not accomplishing what it could, that America is a failure.

More important, how about diamonds? Without diamonds, much of what we enjoy, live in, drive, drive on, and yes, even the toilet you flush would not be possible without diamonds! (Used in cutting and drilling)

Why just the blacks? There are so many other 'races' in this country - in the US of A - why shouldn't the Asians, Mexicans, French, English, Cubans, Vietnamese, etc. go back to their 'homeland'?
If all who 'don't belong here' go back, then the only people that would be left would be the Native Americans - the original people of 'Turtle Island'. (Now, 1/3 of me is all for that, being of Tsa La Gi heritage - but that'd mean that my Scotish and Irish sides have to return too!)
If 'racial purity' is what the Great Spirit has called for, then ALL must return to the Motherland.
But why just the blacks?

The leading evolutionary theory is that the human race came from common origins in the African continent. So that's probably a pretty big contribution, at least in anthrocentric terms. I mean, without us to invent stuff and then write about it, how would this posting on this blog exist?
The Moors (originally from Northern Africa) kept alive arts, sciences, philosophy, etc. during the Dark Ages, preserving and adding to it. Imagine where we would be without this cultivation of hundreds of years of knowledge.
I'm not even sure why the question about what the African Nations have added to the world is even asked? Do you mean how have the nations impacted YOUR life? The world? Do you mean in the last fifty years - that seems pretty short-sighted. Is there an implication that one must contribute gadgets like the Flobee to be counted as worthy or legitimate, that they are not inherently worthy for just being on their own terms?
Between below and what is documented above, we owe a lot of OUR CULTURE to advancements that came out of Africa, from technology to linguistics. The inventions you talk about may never have come to be, or at least come to be by now, without the basis upon which they are built.

Do you honestly think he's going to accept those facts as the truth and apologize for being wrong? NO! He'll come back with some kind of excuse that makes those items 'unacceptable' - invalid.
Why debate a deaf man? He's sunk his claws into these unreasonable and hateful views, preaching them as 'The Gospel', and there's not a man in the world that can convince his undeveloped mind otherwise. If you have any knowledge of the bible, you might be familiar with the warning of Satan masquerading as an angel of light.

On another column on this blog, David Had Ben Carl 'contributed' (and I use the term loosely) this bit of information: "I've known Carl for years, we both believe the teachings of Herbert W. Armstrong... " but in another column states "apparently Carl is another great thinker and honest contributor.
Apparently. "Apparently Carl is another great thinker..."
Is it my police background that is hearing this as suspect, or does anyone else see something 'hinkey' in saying "I've known Carl for years..." and then saying "Apparently...."?
