If you haven't had a good laugh today...

please take a few minutes and watch this clip. Even if you have already watched once or more times than you can remember.

In addition, I've decided to forgo any of my usual analysis and commentary because this clip truly epitomizes the art of "speaking for itself". One last thing before you hit play, there is a little bit of unintentional irony in having this follow Fred's Howard University post. See if you can pick it up.

Let me add my own to this video.

"I am a Democrat because, like everyone else in this video, I'm FUGLY."

(For those of you who don't understand what FUGLY is, think FukinUGLY)

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

They got these students from Argon. Which is making huge advancements in green energy.

They need to start selling facial scrub at the university bookstore.

That is your daddy fucking your mother queer turd.

That is what passes for liberal Democrat intelligence.

Any statement I make is the opinion of me exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is generally permitted.

I never believed what Z and Libs always said about the libs having "buggery on the brain" but I think RWRQ is making me a total believer.

I couldn't watch it all the way through.
It made me physically ill to watch those otherwise seemingly intelligent people talk like they were possessed by some demoncratic thought controlling entity, and putting nonsensical drivel into their heads...
(then again, better them than me . . .)

It sure gave me that sick feeling of a lot of young minds filled with mush from their college educations.

Okay, this is nuts. How much of this is supposed to be serious? One man stated that he was a Democrat because he was sick of NAFTA, but Slick Willie had his feet under the desk in the Oval Office when NAFTA became law.

Mad Jack
Mad Jack's Shack

which probably explains, after it had been absolutely skewered, why they tried to take down the video.

As for the NAFTA guy, if I could ask him a question (in addition to who was President when NAFTA was passed) it would be what seas separate the United States from Canada and Mexico? Because I don't think Lake Erie or the Rio Grande qualify.

Some of the reasons given for being a Democrat in the video-
keeping hope alive- it's a bumper sticker not a political agenda
because of the Patriot Act- passed in the House by 357 to 66 (of 435) and in the Senate by 98 to 1
fair and high quality education- U.S. ranks below many nations in Math and Science
my grandfather was first to graduate h.s. in his family
I want the govt. to take care of it's citizens
it's party of civil rights- "Southern Bloc" of 18 southern Democratic Senators and one Republican Senator launched a filibuster to prevent its passage.
america is a democracy not a theocracy-The United States of Americais a federal constitutional republic
NAFTA is screwing us up- signed by Bill Clinton supporters included 102 Democrats. NAFTA passed the Senate supporters 27 Democrats.
investing and innovation- yes other people's money

Bush 1 may have started NAFTA, (proof that most politicians are a-holes) but it would NOT be law if Clinton hadn't signed it, or if the democrats in congress had not supported it.

This is just wrong on so many levels. Wrong when you cast a big net, you get a lot of junk and the Demoncrats are full of crap policies. Wrong because the United States is a Republic, not a Theocracy or a Democracy. Wrong, because the Government has no place in my personal life, let alone my marriage. Wrong, because sometimes those things we did in the past actually worked like live within our means and balance a budget that we actually have the funds for (wouldn't it be great to get back to that?). What crap are they teaching in public schools these days?
