Radio Smackdown: Fred 1, Wolfman 0

Not that I'm an expert and such, but I do run a political blog that equates politics with pro wrestling.

My response to the Wolfman phone call this morning? Wow.

I really, really, really hope that at some point, we can all start to engage each other and have a meaningful political debate. We sure aren't finding it on the cable networks either.

Paul, you came off like my 17 year old daughter when she's told she can't have the car for the night and tries every conceivable argument in the book to get her way.

Liberals are so cute when they're angry! Among Wolfman's rantings this morning he talked about how conservative talk radio owned the airwaves. He should be reminded that liberals had their own nationwide radio network called "Air America." It went bankrupt.

Clear Channel restructuring 'inevitable'-Moody's

Quote:
While Clear Channel could issue additional debt through its outdoor unit to make it through 2014, that would only postpone a restructuring by a couple of years, Moody's analyst and lead author Neil Begley said.

The company will still face a critical hurdle in 2016, when about $13.8 billion of debt comes due, and leverage is expected to remain too high to attract more investment and refinance the debt, Moody's said.

"It is clear under our assumptions for operating improvement and valuation multiples that the company's debt levels are unmanageable and unrefinancable," the rating agency said.

Wolfwhelp gets his ass handed back to him mano a mano, so back here he goes back to his usual - copy/pasting the words of others.

Paul, if you words dont cut it, then why not just stand back in the shadows and let better men fight the battle. because all you are accomplishing is making your cause look silly.

Hey, Wolfman, there's your chance. Get a whole bunch of your stupid Liberal brethren together and buy up CC's bankrupting stations and show us how Liberal radio gets down to business. Apparently you all work in high-paid union jobs so getting that cash together shouldn't be difficult.

Oh wait, you want the government to run those radio stations for you, just like NPR.

In a battle of wits, dogboy is outgunned.

Friday the fool on the afternoon shift went on a rant of how his silly shallow ill thought out ideas are somehow the answers to the worlds problems. This whole episode was fully expected by the Wolfman giving WSPD traction to defame me. The mumblings of his ignorance shows why he is stuck in this two bit market while living in far away Virginia. Daily this station beats a narrow theme of intolerance and hatred. "Like monkeys peeling bananas" http://www.toledoblade.com/TV-Radio/2011/10/15/WSPD-host-Job-as-entertai... . Worn out half baked crack pot disproven ideas promoted by big money fascists such as Grover Norquist and the golddigger book pusher media clown Ann Coulter (my opinion). The American people have wised up to this bunch of corporate shills. The Occupy Wall Street movement will only grow as the American dream is continued to be stolen from the majority by this monied group.

I would not play along with Fred's foiled attempt at "gotcha "journalism" . I was responding to Julie, the caller before me, not to Fred's silly misleading questions of mandatory union participation in the work place. I only pointed out smarmy Fred with his lack of control of the interview as he again potted over caller Julie and called her a union slug. When one can't win an argument then call them names. Some of use know the tactics of WSPD that's why we don't call. As I have proven once again!

No, you were overly confrontational with Fred from the get go which precluded any chance of any reasonable give and take.

It's clear your intention, as was Julie's, was to filibuster and blurt out as many 'talking points' as possible in the short time you'd be on the air.

It is, unfortunately, symptomatic with everything that's gone wrong in our political discourse. We can't have a civilized debate any more. We can't respectfully disagree with other people's opinions, no, we have to make it personal. We have to try and shout other people and their views down.

That's all you did, Wolfman. You went on the show with the express purpose of trying to shout the host down. And that's why you failed.

Political Championship Wrestling- putting politics in proper perspective by presenting it as pro wrestling.

Coming in January, a political satire about the sorry state of American Politics- Jesusland vs. Progressiveville.

And STILL at any rate, Wolfman is perfectly free to make use of this Interwebs thing and technology to make his own streaming-audio show, to supply the listening needs that he (falsely) believes that Toledo so lacks.

Sadly for Wolfman, he's outed as an idiot with some regularity. He has no respect for legally-obtained property and privilege. WSPD and other such stations legally bid and legally obtained their broadcast frequencies. They can control content all they like.

Even more sadly for Wolfman, we don't need more Liberal voices in an area that has already been destroyed by decades of the Liberal drumbeat of socialism and unions and communism and huge taxes and huge government and huge spending and all that other economically-destructive shitnoise. Even diehard Democrats are looking at the monster they allowed into the White House and are shaking their heads. Liberalism is a failed philosophy, since it tried to overturn the laws of economics by propaganda and mob rule. Liberalism failed since you can't have a nation of union labor, combined with widespread and cheap Chinese products to reward them for their high wages, then combined with the largest set of financial bubbles ever. Now everyone has to suffer for that set of absurdities.

Here's hoping that people like Wolfman are foreclosed out of their only-made-possible-by-cheap-gasoline deep-suburban White-Flight houses and will have to move back into Toledo to live with the Blacks with the rest of us. We real social Liberals were being faithful to the cause of social Liberalism all along, but we could not and would not destroy capitalism and violate private property to do it. People like Wolfman will have to drop their bias against capital one way or another. Either they do it today and adapt with the least amount of pain, or they will have to do it tomorrow when the adaptation pains prove agonizing.

Fred, will you not incorporate clips of Wolfie acting like a child as part of your intro after commercial breaks.

I bet it would be too funny.

His line about me being the "voice of the area" is an instant classic, and he is already a :30 promo

Are you sure your station isn't paying Wolfman to play this little game? You're getting a lot of mileage out of him.

But not nearly as much as I get from my Prius despite the two having the same amout of gas.

Yes, yes I would always quote the Blade to support my point! There's an article in the Blade about how they unearthed Toledo relics when digging up the newspaper's parking lot. How ironic!

One Toledo relic that the Blade didn't unearth in their parking lot was a sustainable middle class.

Just in the interest of the full story it should be pointed out that the Wilson home did not sell at foreclosure, and that the Blade in a subsequent editorial admitted that Wilson did not imply anything about TPS students. But don't let the facts get in the way of a good story Paul.

Swamp gas was his stated reason for leaving Wood county. Does anyone believe that?

You'd be wise to thread lightly.

You're making assumptions about something you don't have first hand knowledge on. And the person who you are making the assumptions on has already sent you a cease and desist letter.

I think you're heading down a road you may regret and I'm trying to prevent you from making that same mistake.

A quick check of Wood County records show the house sold in Sept. of 2010 under a warranty deed which as even Thom Hartmann must know means the seller hold clear and free title to the house.

Sorry feeling a little lightheaded today, WOLFMAN lives in a former cottonwood swamp surrounded by swamp gas. What was posted was old news reported over a year ago. I do believe the media had the foreclosure story right at the time till circumstances changed later. I find it funny that BW admitted on his radio air waves last Friday (11/11/11 the 3:00 to 4:00pm hour) that he initiated legal action. Here I thought it was someone else. So we see the defaming of the WOLFMAN on the public airwaves without his ability to defend his good name in kind. Seems fair? Why are these clowns so afraid of the WOLFMAN? Makes you think. Why can BW threaten everyone with litigation when he daily spews hatred in kind?

Copy/paste look to WBSPD for the ultimate in dicing interviews for their own benefit.

Help me check my facts here - was it wspd who was forced to admit being a liar on this forum, or was that you?

It must be true.

Wolfman wrote it in a blog on a website. And, since little bitch-boy knows that B Wilson will sue his worthless lying, sack of UAW shyt butt if the Little Woolf-welp lies like an Obama again, then it must be true.

Unless Wolfman is a total and complete mindless drone moron who cannot' stop himself from lying and exposing himself to another lawsuit.

So, when I post a blog on Swampbubbles.com or Thomhartman.com that Wolfman accepts money in exchange for sexual favors to UAW members, then it must be true. It's in print on the internet.

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

I also feel that the full story needs to be expressed.

Radio host Wilson's condo in foreclosure, set for sheriff's sale
http://www.toledoblade.com/local/2010/08/14/Radio-host-Wilson-s-condo-in...

"On June 21, Wood County Common Pleas Judge Reeve Kelsey found that the Wilsons were in default of their loan and ordered the property sold at sheriff's sale."

Once the lender files the foreclosure, a foreclosure is in effect. If some sort of arrangement is made later, the foreclosure can be vacated, but that doesn't do away with the fact a foreclosure was started. And foreclosures start since the borrower fails to uphold his part of the mortgage contract. In common parlance, we call those people "scumbags".

What's really happening now across the nation is pretty much the usual for our new social order. Poorer people are getting hit with the full foreclosure action, since they can't afford to defend themselves in court. The wealthier people who are just as guilty of welshing on their agreements, are more likely to escape bad results and (notably) reputation-damaging results, simply by resorting to using a pricey lawyer to badger the lender in court.

So we get a world where a Sadler gets paperwork stuffed up his ass and looks like a fool, while a Wilson gets soft hands and is scooted out of the paperwork trap squeaky clean. Both are bad people whose personal words aren't worth anything. We must never ever forget that. Once you sign that mortgage paperwork, you P-R-O-M-I-S-E on your own honor to fulfill the terms (i.e. pay for the house) regardless of how the house fares on the market. We must never ever forget that, lest we find ourselves suddenly adrift in a Somalia-like culture where contracts don't mean a goddamn thing!
