Auburn #1, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma tied for #2: American Heartland Bar and Grill College Football Top 30- Week 9

Three way tie for second place in the rankings. Why? Nebraska defeated Missouri this weekend. Missouri defeated Oklahoma last weekend. Oklahoma defeated Nebraska a couple weeks ago. Even with the loss, Missouri's ranking still came out at 4.00. Both Oklahoma and Nebraska were moved up accordingly.

NOTES:
-Both TCU and Boise State are closing in. Boise State is in the best position at this point only having 7 games under their belt and 7 win Hawaii, 5 win Fresno State, and 7 win Nevada coming up.

-Let's address Oregon. For all the complaints about Boise's schedule, let's compare the two.

BOISE
09-06 at Virginia Tech 6-2 (4-0) 20 33-30 W
09-18 at Wyoming 2-7 (0-5) 110 51-6 W
09-25 Oregon St. 4-3 (3-1) 36 37-24 W
10-02 at New Mexico St. 2-6 (1-3) 140 59-0 W
10-09 Toledo 6-3 (5-0) 49 57-14 W
10-16 at San Jose St. 1-8 (0-4) 137 48-0 W
10-26 Louisiana Tech 3-5 (2-2) 81 49-20 W
- 24 wins for the teams they've defeated, 0 losses = 24 / 7 games = 3.43
11-06 Hawaii 7-2 (5-0) 24
11-12 at Idaho 4-4 (1-2) 82
11-19 Fresno St. 5-2 (3-1) 48
11-26 at Nevada 7-1 (2-1) 28
12-04 Utah St. 2-6 (0-4) 119
-No conference title game. There's at least 25 more wins on their remaining schedule. Boise has to hope that Virginia Tech, Toledo, and Oregon State continue to win games.

OREGON
09-04 New Mexico 0-8 (0-4) 163 72-0 W
09-11 at Tennessee 2-6 (0-5) 106 48-13 W
09-18 Portland St. 2-6 (1-4) 210 69-0 W
09-25 at Arizona St. 4-4 (2-3) 67 42-31 W
10-02 Stanford 7-1 (4-1) 14 52-31 W
10-09 at Washington St. 1-8 (0-6) 135 43-23 W
10-21 UCLA 3-5 (1-4) 87 60-13 W
10-30 at USC 5-3 (2-3) 38 53-32 W
-21 wins for the teams they've defeated, 0 losses = 21 / 8 games = 2.63
11-06 Washington 3-5 (2-3) 77
11-13 at California 4-4 (2-3) 51
11-26 Arizona 7-1 (4-1) 15
12-04 at Oregon St. 4-3 (3-1) 36
-No conference title game. There's at least 18 more wins on Oregon's schedule. Tennessee being down this year hurts. Wins over New Mexico and Washington State don't help much. And Portland State?

Let's call it what it is, Oregon, at least on paper, is overrated and all this crap about Boise State's schedule is just that- crap.
