I can't disagree too much with the BCS final standings as much as I'd like to. What's interesting is that all 10 teams are going to BCS bowls.

Congratulations to the five MAC teams going bowling, including Bowling Green (4-0 in their last four games) who will travel to Boise to meet Idaho. Also going to bowls from the MAC: Temple (great job by Al Golden in turning that program around), Northern Illinois (the same with Jerry Kill), Ohio (the same with Frank Solich), and Central Michigan.

Congratulations to Ohio State and Iowa for making BCS bowls.

We still need a tournament.

is well represented. Should Iowa be ahead of Ohio State?

In a perfect system...no. But, noting the fact that OSU defeated Iowa in OT and the fact that they are only.3 apart, it is what it is. The loss to a 7 loss Purdue and USC folding down the stretch brought the Buckeyes down. Iowa was helped greatly by Arizona's win over USC and Iowa State playing much better than anyone expected.

Of course, if there was a tournament, this would be a moot point because both Iowa and Ohio State would be in it.
