It's a design for the really slim or really brave woman - ultra low-rise jeans with a built-in bikini or thong.
The Brazilian-made trousers would not look out of place among the bronzed bodies on
Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro but their effect on the British high street has yet to be seen.

The jeans sit extremely low on the hip and leave little to the imagination. The tight-fitting garments are held up by the elasticated black thong or denim bikini ribbon, tied at the side.
Sandra Tanimura, a designer from the clothing company Sanna, came up with the idea after customers asked for ever lower trousers but then had difficulty keeping them up.
She said: "We specialise in making low-rise trousers and our customers wanted them to get even lower. It was very difficult meeting these demands without the trousers falling down. I came up with the idea of using the bikini strings to let the trousers hang really low without falling."
Sanna makes its products in Brazil but sells most of its clothing in Japan.
The jeans cost £45 and are available online.

starling, are you going to order a pair? :) talk about gross, nothing like a decent pair of jeans. what would be even worse if they made them for men. nothing like the plummer coming over to fix the sink in a pair of bikini pants with the built in thong!!!!!

there are many cities that are banning low rise pants, or men wearing their pants so low most of their undies are showing, so i'm sure we won't see these kind of pants. at least i hope we don't, yuck! it reminds me of 9 years ago when we were on our honeymoon in the Caribbean, we went to a nude beach, no, i did not participate, but the people that did shouldn't have. :) it was quite the experience. i'm assuming the people who, well lets say that have a little extra belly would wear these, and we would be subjected to look at their butts. even the people who look like the lady in the picture i don't want to see walking around. although, i heard don is going to be taking a "business" trip to verify this story is true. don is just that dedicated to swamp bubbles that he would do that for us. :) thanks don. :)
I wear something like that to sleep every night. This is not new.
It's good to know some GOPers have a sense of humor. But, Chris, this looks like a complicated garment. Is it comfortable and is it easily handled when you need to take that 2 a.m. pee?
not to get into details but things can be moved quite easily. Just look at the style, and you can get the idea.

No, red, I won't be buying a pair of these jeans. Even if I was younger & had a body built to wear them I wouldn't. You're right about people at nude beaches. They have some on Martha's Vineyard, and we caught an eyefull using the telescopes at the top of Gay Head bluffs (our Jr. high kids brought friends so they got a hoot out of it). Blowin in the wind you could say. And private beaches are open to the public after 5 pm, and the kids wanted a beach with good waves, so when we showed up at one in particular a bit past 5 pm, there was one old lady - completely naked, shriveled & old - putting her clothes back on. (a big "EWWWWWWWWW" from the kids). But it does seem to be the case with nude beaches & nudist colonies that the people with the worst bodies go to them (they aren't supposed to be sexual & you're not supposed to look). Older men with huge bellies, everything hanging out or tucked into a thong with fat asses bulging in the back - obese, women with lots of cellulite in their altogether - flabby legs & aging, sagging boobs & stretch marks & ugly veins - definitely not a sexual experience.
But I digress - back to the jeans.......... Even regular low rise jeans tend to make girls/women's bodies look worse than what they are - tubes of fat squeezed out at the top, butt cracks & butt fat showing when they sit or bend over, & the very cut usually makes them look like they have pot guts when they don't. Unless you have a great, firm body - you shouldn't be wearing them, no matter how old you are. The worst was when the tight, short belly shirts were popular (all you could find in the stores) - so they'd have these tight, low rise jeans & a tight, short belly shirt with huge belly & back fat rolls sticking out all over. The jeans in your article make me wonder if you'd be feeling like you have a huge wedgie all the time - the only thing holding the jeans up is the attached thong - and any woman who's ever worn one of those one-piece shirt things that snap in the crotch knows what I'm talking about. You spend your whole childhood picking wedgies out of your ass, then you grow up & put one there on purpose - I don't get it.

ahhh, so you've seen the sights ate a nude beach as well. :) the one we went to was beautiful being on st martin. i got a kick out of the lady who was quite proud of what she had, of course, she paid quite a bit for them, so i guess she liked to show them off.
my question about the jeans was how do they stay on? i have a few pair of the higher low rise jeans, but i wear them with a form fitting longer shirt, so nothing is exposed. i'm constantly pulling them up.
