According to Homeland security, NASCAR fan's have hepatitis

According to a Charlotte.com article House staffer from Homeland Security were ordered to get hepatitis A, hepatitis B, tetanus, diphtheria and influenza immunizations before going to Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Bank of America 500 and the UAW-Ford 500 events.

The reason for their trip was for a fact-finding trip about public health preparedness at mass gatherings. While Charlotte.com will not say which party was behind the expedition, RedPill.com (a conservative blog) states that all of the expeditions' planners were Democratic staffers.

What namby pamby p*ssies!!

I wonder if they've ever had a drink straight from the hose on a hot day after watching their gardeners mow the lawn?

I won't go to another NASCAR race because I was kicked out of the Richmond race a few years back for being "too drunk".

I don't think it was the fact that I was drunk that was the problem but when the security guard asked me if I have had enough to drink I answered "just about enough to find this sport interesting".

Southerners get PISSED when you make fun of NASCAR.

I have never heard of anyone being too drunk to be at a NASCAR event. I thought it was a prerequisite???!!!

That's impressive right there.

Yeah it was a fun weekend.

It was also the first time I ever tried moonshine. I met two older gentlemen from North Carolina who bought with them something with peaches in it that they swore came from a still that was sold to their dad by Junior Johnson.

If that's not NASCAR I don't know what is.

but I better go get my shots!

Perhaps this had a little more to do with it (from the article, not the conservative blog):

Thompson said the immunizations are commonly recommended for people working in hospitals, holding centers and similar locations.

"Since committee staff members are visiting hospital and other health-care facilities available at or near these venues, including areas where groups of people are detained before being transferred to other off-site facilities, I believe that the recommendation (not requirement) that our congressional staff receive these same immunizations was sound," Thompson said in a letter responding to Hayes issued Wednesday.

"I am sure you would agree that providing immunizations to personnel involved in public safety is good public health policy, and there is no need to exclude staff from taking the preventative measures that the public health community recommends -- regardless of why and where mass gatherings are taking place," Thompson said in the letter.

for a mere $150 investment, you too can avoid the dreaded "Pam Anderson Gift for All".

Pay heed, NASCAR Fans, it's only a 3-shot cocktail to prove the naysayers and envious wrong!

Watch out NFL, you're next!!!!!!
