GOP Tax Plan -Welfare for the rich

Well it looks like the Republicans are finally going to get Tax cut for the Rich pass.
Trump been lying and blowing smoke up the public's ass.
There have already been a number of companies who have already said they will pass any tax savings to back to their share holders and NOT to create jobs for the middle class like lyin Don claims.
Why does these "tax cuts" for the middle class "expire" after a few years while the Corporate
rate stays permanent? Scam
They are also trying to sneak in another plan that would make all tips service workers be the property of the employer. The employer can give some to his emplyee's or keep it all.
What ever fuck nut Repub who came up with this plan should be horse whipped.
What a bunch of greedy cocksucker's.

No votes yet

promise anything to get votes, then screw the common American. Lyin' Don is just another lying Republican politician!
Remember when one of the main issues about which the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, criticized Obama, was that the middle class in America continued to shrink during Obama's Presidency? And remember when Potuzzi promised the American public that he would rectify this discrepancy? Just trust him, he said. What a crock! If this tax plan is passed, as it appears it will be, let's see what happens to America's middle class. And the super-rich just keep getting even richer. Just more fake promises to get votes for Republican politicians, including Lyin' Don!

You have to give that Orange face fuck up some credit though. He pulled off the biggest con job on the American people ever. All those gutless chicken shit Repubs in congress should have the shit beat out of them like that bald headed midget Rand Paul.

Hope I didn't offend anyone!

The Trojan Horse in the Tax Bill
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/20/opinion/republican-tax-bill-senate-ho...
Congressional Republicans have finally done it: Both the House and Senate passed tax legislation. The bill has now headed to President Trump’s desk for his signature.

Most dissection of the plan has focused, for obvious reasons, on the way it changes our tax bills. The Tax Policy Center found that in the first years most people would get a tax cut, although the biggest cuts are reserved for the wealthiest. By 2027, lower- and middle-income Americans would get no benefit or actually pay more in taxes.

But this bill also serves as a setup for steep government cuts. Programs from Medicare to flood insurance to food stamps will be at risk the moment President Trump’s signature dries. Some reductions would be inflicted automatically. Others, Republicans will pursue with a handy justification — the revenue hole created by their own legislation.

Under the Pay-as-You-Go Act of 2010, or Paygo, the Office of Budget and Management has to order automatic spending cuts if legislation passed by Congress is set to increase the deficit and the rules aren’t waived or the loss isn’t covered by new revenue. According to a Congressional Budget Office analysis, spending cuts would have to total $136 billion for a bill, such as the tax legislation, that increases the deficit by $1.5 trillion over a decade.

What would get cut? Some programs, like Social Security and unemployment benefits, are spared. But plenty of others are seriously exposed. While there are limits on how much Medicare would be pared back, it would still be slashed by $25 billion.

Paygo. After all, if revenues don't meet goals, and the hole in the budget increases the national debt too much, Republicans could justify decreasing Social Security. They can save billions by eliminating, or severely limiting, COLAs alone!
Republicans are reluctant to cut Social Security because seniors vote in such high percentages, but most Republicans are NOT supporters of Social Security. Republicans overwhelmingly opposed Social Security in the 1930s. Republicans opposed Medicare in the 1960s as well. In addition, Republicans will say that cutting or eliminating the COLA for Social Security recipients is not a cut. No Social Security recipient would receive a lower monthly benefit payment, after all. We all know the Republican line.
Republicans have been masters at diverting common folks away from pocketbook issues, because pocketbook issues make Republicans look so bad. Republicans and conservatives LOVE to emphasize the three Gs! And now, Lyin' Don has added fear of immigrants and minorities in general to the 3 Gs. Republicans will do anything to stay in office, and to distract common folks from the real issues which they face every day.

own ears, this description of what constitutes the "Middle Class" to investors. One of the regular contributors to CNBC was explaining that people who report earning between, "$125,000 and $175,000 a year," he considers to be in the "Middle Class."
I keep trying to educate people about how income levels are misconstrued. Republicans throw around terms like "Middle Class" as though it refers to common folks. Now, I don't know about most who read here, but, in my mind, people who earn between $125,000 and $175,000 per year are far above the "Middle Class" I know!
Republicans like to throw around another term, "Small Business." When I think of a small business, I think of a true "Mom and Pop" business. I worked with my father for 15 years. In his "Small Business" we had one other employee. That's right. There were three of us.
Here is what Republican politicians mean when they talk about "Small Business." According to the Federal Government, in general, a "Small Business" is one with annual revenues of up to $38,500,000 per year, and employs up to 1500 people! Now, THAT'S what Republican politicians, including Lyin' Don, are referring to when they claim how much they want to help "Small Business!"

Yesterday on Fred LeFebvre's morning show he asked his listerners for their favorite Christmas movies. Apparently after a period of time no one called to list the Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Fred lamented this fact. So I emailed Fred with the following:

Fred:
Peope are tired of The Grinch that Stole Christmas. We're watching it everyday in the Whitehouse!

Well I heard he went off on this Email on air! He said I've call him stupid and that I don't listen to the station. He's right you know. To support this taxcut is foolish and most polls of Americans do not support it. But the raw power of the world's wealthy don't care about America and they've schemed to throw a bone to Americans while they run off with our cash. These few who really benefit can live anywhere in the world and do. They have no loyality to America.

The Final Tax Bill Is a Bigger Win for Foreign Investors Than the Entire Working and Middle Class in Trump States

Republican politicians buy off enough voters -- using the voters' own money of course -- with the crumbs thrown to average voters in the form of small tax cuts, while sending most of the costs in the form of deficits to the children and grandchildren of these voters? And what will be the timing of the inevitable cuts in entitlements, including Social Security and Medicare, to give the highest earners those gigantic tax cuts? How angry will these voters be at the Republican politicians in November and beyond?
As Alabama showed us, voter turnout is everything!

Has any seen Mike Pence preforming oral sex on Trump the last couple of days? Its actually embarrassing watching a grown man grovel and suck up to another man like that. I'm waiting for him to slip up on one of these suck fest and refer to Trump as "Your Majesty".
What a LOAD.

Hope I didn't offend anyone!

Rumors are Pence won't allow himself to be alone with the pussy grabber without his wife.

person.
But, do voters really care? After Alabama, maybe. We'll see.

Hello. I'm not so sure about Pence being so moral. Isn't there something in the bible or is it one of the commandments, that states something like " Thou shall not worship false Gods".
Do you see the way Pence gazes at trump? Creepy.
Happy NY

Hope I didn't offend anyone!

Happy and healthy New Year to you, Donnahoney.

Francis quote: "Human rights are not only violated by terrorism, repression or assassination, but also by unfair economic structures that creates huge inequalities."

costs America SO MUCH MORE than his salary would have, just by his golf outings alone! Here is what Potuzzi's golf outings cost all of us in JUST 2017: "The American public spent at least $43 million in order to support President Donald Trump‘s considerable golf habit in 2017." Here is a link to the entire article: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/report-the-american-public-spent...
The article went on: "When the 44th and 45th presidents face-off over the dubious honor, however, Trump beats Obama hands-down. In fact, it’s not even close: After the first year of each man’s presidency, Obama had only played golf 28 times; Trump definitely played at least 43 times in that same timespan–and likely played around 76 games of golf–at a cost of roughly $1 million per game [using the "43" number] –all on the dime of the American people."
Oh, but we taxpayers are "saving" $400,000 a year supposedly. Remember, Sir-Tweets-A-Lot is taking his salary and donating it to charity, which, of course, is tax deductible. So, we aren't even saving his entire salary of less than 1/2 million dollars, while paying tens of millions to indulge his golf habit. And a lot of the fees are paid to his own golf resorts! So, he's making money, personally, at the same time. What a racket!

President Trump has made 1,950 false or misleading claims over 347 days
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/president-trump-has-made-1950-fa...

With just 18 days before President Trump completes his first year as president, he is now on track to exceed 2,000 false or misleading claims, according to our database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president.

As of Monday, the total stood at 1,950 claims in 347 days, or an average of 5.6 claims a day.

Statements made are the opinion of the writer who is exercising his first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and are generally permitted.

Potuzzi relates, is a criticism of his predecessor and/or Potuzzi's critics, both Democratic and Republican. The Michelin Man NEVER admits when he makes an error, outright lies, or screws something up!
In Lyin' Don' s world, nobody's perfect -- except HIM!

I know that Sarah is paid fairly well for making excuses for Lyin' Don. But, view her on "you-tube" trying to justify his golf outings, even though Potuzzi himself harshly criticized Obama for golfing too much, and, even though the Michelin Man has golfed much, much more than Obama did while in office. I'm surprised Lyin' Don isn't criticizing Obama for golfing too much after Obama left office!

Just curious. Which makes more Americans more nervous -- Kim having his "button" on his desk, or Potuzzi having his "button" on his? Both are scary to me!

Just amazing and scary where this will all take us. Trump is basiclly a uninformed boob who watches TV and golfs instead of reading his briefs! Just how stupid is this?

Statements made are the opinion of the writer who is exercising his first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and are generally permitted.

REALLY flattering Kim Jong Un when he talks about having a nuclear "button." Contemplate this, "The great strength of the totalitarian state is that it forces those who fear it to imitate it." Guess who said this?
Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, is falling into the trap set my someone Putuzzi himself refers to as a "madman." What does one call someone who allows himself to be entrapped by a "madman?"

You all have lost it. He totally drives you crazy.

MikeyA

Keep it up, just like the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like kept up his bromance with the Alabama teen-stalker...right into the political toilet! I'm glad that you're enjoying watching the ineptitude of the current administration. It would be funny, if it weren't so serious. Remember, Sir-Tweets-A-Lot is competing with the maniac in North Korea about who has the bigger nuclear button. Nothing funny there, Mikey!

But, I DO love when conservatives fight in public. Whom do you support. Mikey? Potuzzi or the grim reaper?
LMAO!!

Just how do I have a bromance with the President?

You REALLY hate his tweets don't you?

MikeyA

every time you post something that defends him.
I've said it before -- ad nauseum -- and I'll say it again, just for you, Mikey. I LOVE it when the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, tweets! That's when he is totally unleashed to show his true colors! It is REPUBLICANS who HATE his tweets. How many times have I heard traditional Republicans and/or conservatives say things like, "I just wish he could stay on script, and not state the exact opposite in Twitter an hour after he makes a good speech?"
Remember, the term "Sir-Tweets-A-Lot" was first coined on national TV on Faux News by Brit Hume.
But, that's all right, Mikey. Keep living in Egypt on this one!

Mikey -- You prove you have a bromance with Lyin' Don...every time you post something that defends him.

Ok so what have I said that defends him?

MikeyA

You ignore the fact that his tweets drive traditional Republicans and conservatives crazy. And you erroneously claim that his tweets drive me crazy, when the exact opposite is true. How many times do I have to state this. I LOVE TWEETS from Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like! Remember, as much as I would like to take credit for calling our POTUS Sir-Tweets-A-Lot first, this nickname was said on TV by Faux News's own Brit Hume.

OK, Mikey...If you don't have a Bromance with Potuzzi, quote from one of your posts where you state a disagreement with one of his policies since he was sworn in as POTUS! Good luck and happy hunting, Mikey!

I defend his right to tweet. I laugh at you, the other libs, and the media who go bezerk over them. You don't even realize he tweets between 5 and 8 am. He's controlling the news of the day. You're being played like a fiddle.

You want a disagreement with his policies. Sure. I'll give you a few. As GZ noted (May God rest his soul) I am a globalist. I am not an isolationist. The President is not a globalist. I also don't think the federal government prosecuting marijuana crimes is a productive use of our time or money. I also don't like that he's not going after the banks and our government who still today are continuing the practices of lending money to people they shouldn't lend to for houses and student loans.

See. I'm not a Never Trumper but I'm also not a Trumper. I am and always have been a faithful Republican.

MikeyA

how can you justify the fact that Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, openly attacks "faithful" Republicans, including a decorated war hero like John McCain?! Where does Ronald Reagan's 11th Amendment fit in with this scum? Add to this list of Republicans attacked by him, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, etc., etc.!
No, Mikey. You are NOT a "faithful Republican." You are a faithful "Trumper!"

And, Mikey, I am a proud liberal, and I still LOVE his tweets. Just keep saying I don't, and you play the game as Sir-Tweets-A-Lot wants us all to play it. It is traditional, true "faithful" Republicans who are driven crazy by his tweets! Those with a bromance with him, delude themselves into believing otherwise. Mikey, if the shoe fits...

"how can you justify the fact that Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, openly attacks "faithful" Republicans,"

I don't have to justify for people I'm not throwing my support behind.

"No, Mikey. You are NOT a "faithful Republican." You are a faithful "Trumper!""

Don't tell me who I support and who I don't support. The fact is because I support Reagan's 11th amendment doesn't mean all Republicans do. Funny you mention John McCain because he openly attacked Trump before Trump ever attacked him.

". It is traditional, true "faithful" Republicans who are driven crazy by his tweets!" No it's not. It's just the Never Trumpers. It's the libs who lose their mind over it. Case in point this is CNN (a liberal news org) today https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/15/politics/trump-florida-school-shooting-tw... Or liberal bloggers https://twitter.com/JRubinBlogger/status/964180533386280960?ref_src=twsr... https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/2/15/17016036/trump-guns-me...

Again this is JUST TODAY. For comparison I went onto The Daily Wire and Hot Air, two conservative media orgs. Interestingly enough I couldn't find one story about the President's tweets not just today but in the last several days. NOT ONE.

It's your side who's obsessed.

MikeyA

mention McCain because he openly attacked Trump before Trump ever attacked him."
NO ONE can attack your bromance buddy and get away with it...right Mikey? Talk about "obsessed!"
If you support Reagan's 11th Amendment, you cannot keep defending the self-proclaimed Republican who consistently and persistently violates Reagan's 11th Amendment, and still call yourself a "faithful Republican" with a straight face, Mikey. If Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, did so once or twice, a "faithful Republican" could ignore it. But, really, Mikey! And to top it off, Potuzzi doubles down on his attacks against Republicans over and over again.
Many of the Republicans who are the most upset with Sir-Tweets-A-Lot's tweets are among his staff! Just ask Steve Bannon! LMAO!

Once again, I state clearly, traditional Republicans want the POTUS impeached so they can have President Pence!

"Once again, I state clearly, traditional Republicans want the POTUS impeached so they can have President Pence!"

HA HA. There might be 1 here or there but the majority know that would hurt the party in the long run. Your fantasies are funny.

I know they're fantasies because I linked you examples and you can't discredit them.

Sir-Tweets-A-Lot's See, those tweets bother you.

#Triggered

MikeyA

own, Brit Hume!
I just happen to love it!
And...I LOVE his tweets!!

McCain? Unlike you, Mikey, Meghan does NOT attempt to explain away Lyin' Don's wild, often fallacious, accusations. I heard her today on "The View." I do not have the quote, so I will paraphrase here: Stated McCain, "I cannot defend the indefensible. I am not a liberal, so I cannot go over to the other side. I am still a conservative, but I cannot support this POTUS."
Here, Mikey, I'll translate for you. IMHO, Meghan McCain is one of those true believer Republican conservatives who would love to see the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, impeached and removed from office, and replaced by the VPOTUS! She is not a hypocrite. She cannot support someone, no matter how infantile his statements may be, just because that person represents the Republican Party in our nation's highest office. To most true "faithful Republicans," Pence is the best possible POTUS the Republicans could have. Pence does NOT violate Reagan's 11th Commandment on a regular basis like Sir-Tweets-A-Lot does.

It is traditional Republicans and conservatives who want to see Potuzzi impeached and removed from office the most! Why? That's easy. President Pence!
Traditional Republicans and/or conservatives just don't trust Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like. However, most of them LOVE Pence! He is their kind of politician.
Potuzzi appeals a lot to blue-collar Democrats. Remember, for example, NAFTA was a Republican plan which languished in a Democratically controlled Congress 25-30 years ago. Bill Clinton broke with most labor unions and supported it, much to the glee of Republican leaders at the time. Our own local member of Congress, Marcy Kaptur, was so opposed to NAFTA that many spoke seriously of Marcy becoming Ross Perot's running mate as a third party candidate for VPOTUS!
Lyin' Don hates NAFTA in particular, and ALL multi-lateral trade agreements in general. And this is just one area where traditional Republicans and/or conservatives would far prefer Pence to the Michelin Man!

gut feelings, I just received, via email, information from Marcy Kaptur. Among other things, here is what she stated, "As you may know, we are witnessing a once in a generation opportunity to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). As a longtime opponent of the job-killing original NAFTA and the trade model it fostered, it is my strongest hope that any agreement to remain in NAFTA creates a continental compact that raises wages and lifts up workers across the North American continent. I have been very clear with President Trump; NAFTA does not need a tweak, it needs a complete overhaul that ensures workers are protected. I will continue to fight for fair trade agreements that ensure American workers from steel to agriculture and auto to long-haul trucking get much-needed relief from the terribly uneven playing field they have been dealt."
I wish Marcy luck with her endeavors to see NAFTA overhauled in the right ways. Just remember, NAFTA was a Republican initiative that was stalled in Congress by the Democrats, until Bill Clinton decided that NAFTA would be good for America. Marcy and I disagree with Bill and agree with our current POTUS on this issue.

displayed in a tweet posted by Paul Ryan, that was subsequently taken down. In the tweet, Ryan praises the Republican tax cut plan, and uses as a prime example, a school secretary who was pleased to receive $1.50 more in her paycheck, because it, "...will more than cover her Costco membership for the year..." Here's a link to an article about this: https://www.yahoo.com/news/paul-ryan-slammed-over-tweet-praising-tax-cut...
I looked it up. Warren Buffet's corporation, Berkshire Hathaway, will save $37,000,000,000 from the tax cuts! Here's a link to an article about this: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/08/buffetts-berkshire-to-gain-37-billion-wi...
THAT'S what I'm trying to get across to those who consistently vote Republican and think that they are doing great when Republicans cut their taxes by pennies a day. Republican politicians throw a few crumbs to common folks, while giving billions to the super-rich, who fund their campaigns and give them cushy jobs when they retire from office! What a racket!
Some people I know think they are rich. They run multi-million dollar companies. They may be saving a few thousand dollars from the tax cuts. Meanwhile, the super-rich, including the current POTUS, will save -- quite literally -- billions!
And, will the overall economy improve? Maybe in the short run. That's what happened when the super-rich had their taxes cut under W. But, fighting two wars while cutting government revenues and cutting government workers charged with overseeing corporate cheats and liars, led to the Great Recession of 2008-2009! Will history repeat itself? If not, why not?

Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, is going to take tax money from foreign businesses, which means that common folks will pay more for lots of consumer products. Meanwhile, the Federal government will take in tariff money so that the Federal government can give cut taxes BIGLY for the wealthiest among us.
Sir-Tweets -A-Lot supporters...have another beer...before the price goes up! (See...most beer comes in aluminum cans...that's one of the many consumer products that will go up in price, if the tariffs and quotas are put into place as proposed by our POTUS.)
Have a nice day!

further enrich the super-rich who don't need it! Then, they send the bill to your children, your grandchildren, and your great grandchildren! Here it is...more facts, not just gut feelings. First, the link to the entire article:
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/apr/9/trillion-dollar-deficits...
This direct quote from the Congressional Budget Office as reported in the Washington Times [NOT the Washington Post]: "Deficits will top $800 billion this year and will reach $1 trillion by 2020, just as President Trump prepares to face voters in his bid for re-election. They will remain above $1 trillion for the foreseeable future, the analysts said, painting a better economic picture but a significantly worse fiscal picture than last year."

Trickle-down will fail again. But does the POTUS care? NO!! He doesn't pay taxes anyway! And, as interest rates rise to normal levels, the share of the federal budget going to finance our national debt eats up money for needed programs.
But, hey...who really cares? The rich will save billions, and common folks will "save" a buck and a half a paycheck. So, we're all happy! Right??

and what were easy targets to cut in the federal budget when these deficits became reality, instead of mere logical projections. Now. we have confirmation from a Republican U.S. Senator who initially opposed the tax giveaway specifically because the package would balloon the federal budget deficit.
Here's a link to an article about the latest from Bob Corker, Republican U.S. Senator from Tennessee: http://thehill.com/policy/finance/382663-corker-tax-cuts-could-be-one-of...
Among other things, I will quote here from that article: "Retiring Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker (R) said his vote on the GOP tax law could be one of the worst of his career if estimates that it will add $1.9 trillion to deficits over a decade prove correct."
Is this 20-20 hindsight? NO!! Another part of the article states: "He [Corker] had initially held out in opposition over complaints that the bill added to the deficit. At one point, he vowed not to vote for any tax bill that added a cent to the deficit, and compared the nation’s fiscal worries to dangers posed by a nuclear-armed North Korea."
Corker knew what would happen, but he voted for the giveaway to the rich anyway! And, make no mistake about it, most of his Republican colleagues knew what this giveaway to the rich would do to the federal budget.
Most Republican office holders simple don't care about common folks! And that includes our Billionaire-in-Chief! They cater to the super-rich who fund their campaigns, and give them cushy jobs when they leave office either via resignation or defeat at the polls. Will Paul Ryan be in difficult financial straits once he becomes a private citizen? What about Corker himself?
