Another positive story about a police officer

A white police officer spotted a young, African-American male walking in an area where few people walked. He did NOT hassle the young man, He did NOT arrest the young man, He did NOT shoot the young man. Rather he and other officers with whom he serves helped the young man. Read what they did and why they did it here: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/this-teenager-was-walking-for-hours-to-...

There are so many police officers making a positive difference in the life of so many citizens! Unfortunately, the main focus of national attention is upon the few who either honestly screw up, or are looking to make life hard for some of us common folks. It will be most interesting to me to check in once in a while to see how many "reads" this article gets, compared to the articles about doom and gloom and horrible people.

Nice story dale, Thank You!

Hope I didn't offend anyone!

I'm a TV baby boomer. I watched a LOT of TV while growing up in the 1950s and 1960s. There was a WXYZ personality named Fred Wolf. He mostly did local (Detroit) radio, but he also did a weekly TV bowling show. At the end of each show, I remember him saying this, "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice."
