Conversation with a Union Democrat

Recently had following conversation with an auto worker, union member, Democrat - self described, plus his baseball cap and jacket logos agreed. We were watching fast-food CNN tv reporting on the presidential candidates. This guy was a fellow-geezer, meaning 60's or thereabouts.

This fella asked me who I voted for in the primary, so I told him... Trump. He then launched into his reasons for voting for Trump also. He repeated, "I'm a Democrat and I'm voting for Trump. All my buddies are voting for Trump also."

I didn't bring up Queen Athaliah, aka Hillary, but he did. He said, "I'm not voting for her, she doesn't do anything for anybody."

I tell this story for a couple reasons. This is die-hard liberal territory, supposedly. You know, the type of region the Dems think they have in their back pocket. But this is what I hear repeatedly at grass roots level... Trump has wide appeal, and people in my geezer age group, in particular, have not forgotten the evils the Clintons have committed, nor how immoral they appear to be in general.

Having said all that, I have this one comment for anyone who has Trump's ear... Making nice with Henry Kissinger was a mistake. Baby boomers across the nation from all political persuasions and parties despise this ogre. Don't kiss up to anyone in the establishment. Maybe have Norma McCorvey at one of your "events", and mention Dr. Nathanson in any debates or interviews on abortion. That will shut any liberal talking head up real fast. They have NO answers for Dr. Nathanson's truth telling.

as your party's candidate? Give me a break! At least Bill never stated that he wanted to "date" his own daughter. At least Bill and Hillary are still in their first marriage! And who was it who was openly cavorting with wife #2 before she was wife #2, and when he was still married to wife #1? And how long did marriage #2 last? Melania [aka wife #3] is getting a little long-in-the-tooth, you know. Isn't it about time for Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, to trade her in for a younger model? [And I do mean, model!]

Let's see, where do I start? Quotes from Lyin' Don -- very loudly proclaimed: "I will be self-funded. I won't owe anything to anybody!" "I know more about ISIS than all of the generals!" "I am worth over $10,000,000,000!" "Mexico will pay for the wall!" "You [California] have a water problem that is so insane, so ridiculous..." "When Mexico, and meaning the Mexican government, sends its people...They're sending people who have lots of problems, and they're bringing their problems to us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume are good people." I could go on. As Hitler said, "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed." You, and all of your friends, can keep believing Lyin' Don. That's your right!

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump wants to give immigrants from the Middle-East and Mexico blankets infested with Small Pox as a welcome to America gift.

and take the infested blankets with them!

Excellent idea, Dale! Seriously.

dead immigrant? This sounds quite familiar to me. (Hint -- I used to watch a LOT of western movies when I was young.)

Trump isn't talking about "immigrants." He's talking about "illegal immigrants." A big difference.

immigration, he was not limiting his statements to those who were here illegally. But, pick and choose what you like. It's the American way!

mind.) Talking about Marco Rubio's looks, the Michelin Man actually said, "I watched somebody on Joe [Scarborough]'s show this morning and he's fawning over him," Trump said of blogger Matt Lewis' praise of Rubio's "boyish" looks. "He says how handsome he is. I don't know. I think I'm better looking than he is." This statement by the man who never met a burger he didn't like, encapsulates the narcissistic view of life of someone who inflates every single aspect of his persona! He doesn't accept the transparent idea that rich people -- even those who only pose as rich people -- become increasingly attractive to other people in direct proportion to the size of the wealth they are perceived to have.
As Warren Buffet stated about Lyin' Don back in 1991, when Buffet and many others estimated that the Michelin Man was about $1,000,000,000 IN THE HOLE: “The big problem with Donald Trump was he never went right. He basically overpaid for properties, but he got people to lend him the money. He was terrific at borrowing money. If you look at his assets, and what he paid for them, and what he borrowed to get them, there was never any real equity there. He owes, perhaps, $3.5 billion now, and, if you had to pick a figure as to the value of the assets, it might be more like $2.5 billion. He’s a billion in the hole, which is a lot better than being $100 in the hole because if you’re $100 in the hole, they come and take the TV set. If you’re a billion in the hole, they say ‘hang in there Donald.’"
Could it be that one reason why Lyin' Don will not release his recent tax returns is because they will show that his net worth might actually be negative right now?

Really, FG! How can this man whose real expertise has little to do with business acumen, and has a lot more to do with having a very successful father who gave him access to financial institutions which were willing to lend him a ton of money, relate to the everyday problems, you, I, and your friends face? Lyin' Don will say anything to get your votes. Obviously, he's succeeding!

Here's what the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like said to a crowd just yesterday: "I have to say one thing about Bernie," Trump said. "He'll be nasty and say, 'Oh, I'd never vote for Trump,' but that's OK.
"I know what he thinks inside. He hates her. Bernie Sanders cannot stand Hillary Clinton."
And Bernie corrected Lyin' Don this way: "Bernie Sanders on Thursday night laughed off Donald Trump's claim that he 'hates' Hillary Clinton.
In an interview with MSNBC's 'All in With Chris Hayes,' Sanders was shown a clip of Trump saying at a rally that the Vermont senator 'cannot stand' his Democratic opponent.
'He has read my mind,' Sanders joked. 'What a man, what a genius.'
'No, the answer is of course Trump is lying as he always does,' he continued. 'No, I do not hate Secretary Clinton. I've known her 25 years, I have a lot of respect for her. We've worked together.'"
Like so many people, the Michelin Man ascribes to others the feelings he would have in the same situation. This is even more evidence of the man who never met a burger he didn't like's feelings of entitlement, because he was born into a rich family! It's classic narcissism to believe that you know how everyone else processes information. You know what they think. How pathetic!

The three family members that I have who are UAW members are also going to vote for Trump. Another family member who always has voted Democrat isn't going to vote at all because he can't stand Clinton.

"By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make people see heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise." As I have stated ad nauseum, Lyin' Don the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like, is the most media savvy candidate for POTUS we have ever had.

I do find it ironic that the modern Republican Party, which is trying so desperately to attract common voters, seems to be doing so with someone who was born into great wealth and proclaims proudly that he is the wealthiest man ever to run for POTUS. How ironic it is that so many common folks are lining up to vote for someone who has lived a life in a way that he cannot imagine relating to the problems common folks face. How ironic it is that the modern Republican Party, which fallaciously portrays itself as being of high moral values, is about to nominate for POTUS a serial marrier who admits to being sensually attracted to one of his own daughters. [That's Ivanka...the daughter from marriage #1; not to be confused with Tiffany...the daughter from marriage #2.]

I still belong to the UAWs' retirees' ranks, and it's the Trumpster all the way for me!!

I still belong to the UAWs' retirees' ranks, and it's the Trumpster all the way for me!!

Do you get to vote twice for Trump?

play book and appeal to the hatred and fears among white Christian males across party lines, and get a majority of white Christian males to vote for him in November. There is also no doubt that the Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like will encourage the largest number of Hispanic voters, who make up the largest minority group in America, to register and vote in record numbers against him. Lyin' Don will also lose the women's vote. He will also lose the African-American vote, perhaps by numbers which will approach those accumulated by McCain and Willard against the first ever African-American POTUS! The Michelin Man who never met a burger he didn't like will also encourage Muslim-Americans to vote in places like Michigan and Ohio in record numbers against him. In addition, these Muslim-Americans tend to be quite successful entrepreneurs in America and will donate money in record amounts against Lyin' Don, too!
And what will the "true believer'" conservative Republicans do? They can't stand Hillary, but they can't stand the serial marrier either. In record numbers, they will either stay home, or vote for a third party candidate. The number who stay home may well determine how Republican candidates do in other races outside of the race for POTUS. Remember, most of those blue-collar Democrats that you are so proud to point out are voting for Lyin' Don, will vote against Republicans in virtually every other electoral contest. Hmmm...

Now, the "wild card" in this is Bill. I have pointed out since 2008, that, for Hillary, he is the "Billstone" around her neck, weighing her down. On the other hand, he is one of the greatest natural campaigners of all time. Whether his positives can outweigh his negatives may well determine who is elected POTUS this Fall!

Nobody ever figured that the destruction of the modern day Republican Party would be by their own doing. They know that most intelligent Americans know that the modern day Republican Party are a bunch of Nazis hiding behind our Constitution.

At McDonalds. He told me yes for the Trump.
These guys won't sat that to a pollster

I wonder what he'll say when he's locked up in a concentration camp.

Germany: "Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.
Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:
'First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.'"
