This guy cracks me up

He wants to be Governor but for years was unwilling to follow the very laws of the state. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/08/04/Fitz_driver_lic... Liberal politicians, you gotta love 'em. http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf/2014/08/what_we_know_--_and_what...

I think he's building a resume' to join Team Clinton-2.0, for 2016. There's nothing the democrats' party likes any more than a guy who knows how to give women what they want!

Well, Republicans like to give men what they want.

I find it interesting that the witness to Fitzgerald's parking lot escapade said he saw the car's headlights go off, the dome light go on, and the two occupants climb into the backseat. (I guess that provided more room while they looked at the map!). When the police arrived, Fitzgerald exited through the car's back door. PLEASE keep in mind they were just talking.

I smell a future Democrat presidential nomination for Fitzgerald!

How long before we see FitzGerald on our TV screens, wagging his finger at us? In a related development, the candidate has canceled plans to make "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" the campaign theme song.

Patience is a great virtue.

Any statement I make is the opinion of me exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is generally permitted.

I think we're about 3 days from seeing the press conference with the wife standing next to him and Fitzgerald saying--just like all humans--he made a mistake and "takes responsibility for his actions."

Wow

So Fitzgerald has either been driving with a learner's permit or no permit at all for 10 years?! He can't quite get around to obtaining a permanent driver's license, yet he's qualified to be governor?

Does anyone in the Ohio Democrat Party office know how to use a computer search engine?

One does, or did. Remember the clown that used state computers to trash Joe the Plumber?

While initially I thought this was a non issue it appears the more we find out the more questions come up.

When the story first broke I was shocked he cancelled campaign stops to address it, that's unusual in a race like this before labor day.

Now we see he went a long time without a permanent driver's license. Why? That raises even more questions.

The Anthony Weiner case started like this too.

Not that interested. For the most part, his political career is at an end. He may get some consolation-prize appointment. I mean, you know, the stripper king is still on the Toledo Board of Elections.

My only interest is that someone his age is that dumb. Seriously, alone in a car in the wee hours - after a party - with a woman not his wife. Had he never HEARD of Ted Kennedy before? Is he un-acquainted with the phrase "avoid even the appearance of evil"? How brain dead can a politician get in 2014?

And NOBODY forgets to get a valid driver's license. NOBODY. Something weird is going on with this guy. In the last analysis, he did this to himself, boo hoo, on to some real news.

He wouldn't have a license if he was too stupid to pass the test.

It's good to know that, in the eyes of a Blade headline writer at least, chronic lawbreaking by a political candidate is merely a mistake.

Patience is a great virtue.

What I liked was how Redfern tried to put Toledo's failures on the Governor.

But at least John Walsh (D Sen, MT) was smart enough to see the writing on the wall maybe that PTSD treatment is working. Fitzgerald is still playing the blame game.
