is marcy kaptur senile?

Two things you don't want to face on a Saturday morning--a water "crisis" and a Marcy Kaptur interview.

So there was Marcy on television rambling on about how the Senate won't even consider the Lake Erie clean-up legislation that the House gives them. She was really disgusted with this and suggested that when the reporters get "other" Ohio politicians in front of the cameras that they ask them about this. One of two things just happened:

1. Marcy has somehow forgotten that her Party--the Democrats--own the Senate and that Harry Reid (another possible victim of senility) decides which legislation the Senate considers. So who was she so angry at--Sherrod Brown?

2. Or is it that Marcy knows that her loyal Northwest Ohio supporters are so stupid that she can act disgusted with the Senate and they'll just figure it's those damn Republicans. Whew!

The gall of Kaptur to try to deflect the blame for the lack of legislative action to clean-up Lake Erie--she's been our Congressional representative since 1983! As recently as 2008-10, the Democrats controlled the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. Marcy and her buddies could have gotten it done in those two years. Any blame sits at her feet.

If Marcy cared about the "hard-working people" of her district--she'd step aside.

The short answer to your question is yes.

It's crazy out there! Did you see all those people pushing and shoving to get what they wanted? Those were politicians in search of media cameras.

Patience is a great virtue.

i'm stealing this to use on air monday

I saw more politicians on TV this weekend than I have in the last five years. Marcy looked so hot.

Now Fred do you think Scott Sands WSPD program director would approve of you posting the above picture? Scott has worked hard at bringing WSPD away from the brink of dysfunction. Fred its posts like this that get you no interviews with Democrats. I thought WSPD 1370 AM was moving in the right direction but with rogue employees like Fred Lefebvre I guess not.

You worry too much about what I do, Scott does, and the station does. I'm not interested in speaking with lying, bullet point Democrats anyway so that part doesn't bother me. I will be having Bob Fry on though soon. He's a Dem who's running for the seat currently held by Latta. Met him yesterday while he was passing out water. He described himself as a gun toting, anti abortion Democrat.

Stay away from me. Ukrainian woman, mama let me be.

Keep up the good work, Fred. Maybe you should put Paul back on the air again? I enjoyed the link you posted, it was most enlightening!
