3-1/2 months & counting until November

Too bad nut-job McCain isn't up for re-election. He would be out on his ear for sure.

But Americans of EVERY political persuasion have found an issue they agree on 100%:

The signs the protesters nationwide are holding up tell the entire story. Americans are last to be helped by American tax dollars - at all times. This illegal immigration, started in January by the president himself - is the very last straw. Finally, Americans have discovered a "last straw". Better late than never.

Most Americans are sick and tired of big money controlling our politicians. Immigration is a factor that big business loves, cheap labor! If only all Americans could come together and demand reform of our campaign laws and get the money out of politics!

That is EXACTLY why Boehner won't hold a vote on that immigration bill sitting on his desk.

It has what business wants in it, and thus the Business Republicans would vote for it and ensure it passes, while the Tea Party would scream bloody murder and revolt against Boehner and the Business Republicans. Plus holding a vote on that bill would obliterate all the right-wing talking points. Better for Boehner to quietly hide it at the bottom of his inbox and pretend it does not exist.

It wouldn't be a good idea for the Republicans to sign on to something like this. Aren't they pouring in fast enough? Everyone knows the Democrats own this situation, so why do they want to share the credit with the Republicans?

G-man says, "everyone knows the Democrats own this situation." Did you fall off the turnip truck and land on your head as a child? I see why some posters have given up on this site when obvious idiotic statements are made to inflame (giving you some credit of intelligence). Then we have the distractions of MikeyA being flippant (see below) while sounding righteous.
AC has been carrying the torch in a website of darkness. Most of what he says I agree with so if I seem absent AC has made my points and find no need to be redundant .

I remember going to Ventura's as a kid.

My Mom's Aunt an Uncle used to go there quite a lot.

Can anyone tell me is it still open as I haven't been there in about 13 years?

MikeyA

I go by there on the way to one of the homes belonging to one of those in my poker group. I used to go there after softball years ago with two or more of the other guys. One of them is on a lifelong quest to find the world's best margarita. He thought that those at Ventura's ranked right up there with some of the best he has had.
The food is very good. No one stays in business that many years with inferior quality food. Because I try to follow a low-fat diet, I remember that Ventura's did have some low-fat choices that were quite good.

A friend of mine said that she saw people outside of the Kroger in Sylvania with "Impeach Obama" signs. This was about 2 weeks ago. Has anyone else seen any such activity locally?

I'm hoping that Rick Perry calls out the National Guard in Texas.

Obama has changed the fabric of this Country.

I hope one of the Tea Partiers in Congress actually has the stones to sidestep Boehner and introduce articles of impeachment. I really do. Sour another entire generation of voters on the GOP! DO IT, DO IT YOU FRAIDY-CATS!

Obama sure changed America all right, all it took was his being elected to drive the right wing off the deep end.

"AC has been carrying the touch in a website of darkness." Huh? A "touch" of what-the clap? I really got a kick out of the show you put on for us, on WSPD! But you could improve on it somewhat, buy talking a little faster, and shouting a little louder--think of James Carville, on speed! You should start calling Congress, and complain about your Compromise Bill, before the next projected 90,000 get here, in November. And why now, do you choose to address your redundancy problem. We're used to it.

When was he on WSPD, I want to here this.
