Follow-up to purnhrt's post

Our friend Purnhrt--I find--is never wrong. Purnhrt's recent post declaring Obama as a "Man for the People" couldn't have been more correct. And to support this, Obama is going to interact with "the people" on Martha's Vineyard for a 15-day vacation. Yep, just like you and me, he'll be staying at a 17-room house worth $12 million (ahhhhhh-it brings back such good memories of similar vacations my family took).

Purnhrt's "Man of the People" will enjoy the 10-acre lot, indoor gym, tennis and basketball courts, and infinity pool. All of this on Martha's Vineyard, a place where the average household income is $101,613--could Obama get any more "common"?!

(Can't wait to read all of Obama's lackeys' posts about how other Presidents took vacations too. I guess they were also "Men of the People"!)

Boy, someone sure has issues over how THEIR president set the ALL-TIME RECORD for vacation time and cost and feels the need to compensate for their tiny weenie!

Here's an article from last year, feel free to find some newer numbers to get pissed off at yourself over: http://www.vosizneias.com/138381/2013/08/11/2259-washington-by-the-numbe...

You guys don't get it. The only people who care about this crap are the low-information morons like yourselves. The rest of us who pay attention to things know you're being whiny little children with this "WAAAAA OBAMA IS GOING ON VACATION AND IT COSTS MONEY!" crap.

By the way, you guys did this crap last year, let's look at how much hyperbole you blathered then:

Oh yeah, and how much did it cost to fly Chimpy McFlightsuit to cut brush at his ranch, instead of hiring someone to do it?

Give it a rest, you idiotic hyper-partisan right-wing moron.

As shocking as this may seem, I don't think Anonymouscoward has a clue as to what he is responding to.

As predicted, he just started rambling about Bush. My point was that Purnhrt called Obama "A Man of the People." Does this vacation sound like something that Gandhi would partake in?

I wonder how much the money that's going to be wasted on this vacation, would help the starving children along the Southern Border?

He is so smart that he was able to determine that a passenger plane shot down over Ukraine
"could" be a terrible tragedy. 2:10p -- Obama: "It looks like it may be a terrible tragedy."
At a previously scheduled event, President Obama opened with remarks about the downed Malaysian passenger plane, "It looks like it may be a terrible tragedy."
Obama said his Administration was looking into whether any Americans were on board and then appeared to return to his previously prepared remarks.

1:03 pm -- Ukraine and Russia Both Deny Attack
CBS News reports that the passenger plane was flying at an altitude of 33,000 feet, the safest cruising height for a Boeing 777, when it was shot down with a SAM or Surface to Air Missile.
Both Ukraine and Russia deny being behind the attack.
Russian separatists and other rebels that don't fall under the command and control of either government might have the weapons systems necessary for this kind of attack.

President's schedule unchanged - he's now at the Charcoal Pit near Wilmington where he ordered the "Pit Special" - burger & fries.

The "Charcoal Pit"--yep, that's our "Man for the People."

Malaysia Airliner shot down over Ukraine today. This was Obama reaction to the original problem - Russia has failed to take steps to end the Ukraine conflict, President Barack Obama said Wednesday in announcing expanded sanctions targeting two banks, two energy companies, Ukraine separatists and defense companies.
Israel beginning a full scale offensive in the Gaza strip right now while Obama heads to a NY fund raiser. Here's Obama on that conflict - he surging violence was a stark contrast to the moderate tone of Obama’s Haaretz op-ed, which was initially written before June 30, the day the three Israeli teens’ bodies were found, and updated subsequently.
The President made a strong call for a two-state solution, reminding both sides that “peace is possible.”

Maybe First Lady Michelle Obama can tweet out a #stoptheviolence message

Whew--those Obamas deserve a vacation!

What is it with you people that you'll threaten Obama with impeachment if he does anything at all but if he does nothing he's a do-nothing non-leader empty suit?

By the way, since you're all clearly castigating him for not running back to DC and launching a couple wars or whatever the hell it is you think you want (before you yank the football away like Lucy does to Charlie Brown), we could talk about where Bush was on 9/11 or when Katrina hit, to point out that you're just being butthurt and that since you have it in for Obama regardless of what he does or does not do, nobody should pay attention to you at all.

Impeachment? IMPEACHMENT? Myself, as well as a lot of other Teabaggers, want to see the President keep doing exactly what he wants, for the next two years, and however many more months. It will be, as they say, "a sight to behold!"

Give it a rest. Or was your immediate reaction "Where's George?" whenever something bad happened somewhere in the world when Bush was president?

Patience is a great virtue.

My immediate reaction was "Where's George". May I continue now?

,,,,,,,,,,

A Ukrainian separatist bragged about shooting down what he thought was a Russian military plane this AM, on a Russian internet forum! Then he deleted his post--or so he thought.
