What's your favorite part of Obamacare so far?

Needs another selection:

¤ The law is SO BAD that the President has failed to defend it half a dozen times, and has actually apologized for it.

I'd choose that option.

Maybe congress should apologize for shutting down the government for 16 days.

The Congress and President both need to apologize for borrowing 25% to 40% of the federal budget each year, every year, you freak. Did you think those extra hundreds of billions were just FREE?

And you still wonder why Liberals are HATED? o_O

Weren't they?

Actually many illegal immigrants who work give false social security numbers. Taxes are still withheld from those paychecks. They also still pay sales tax and their rent includes property taxes.

So are they paying as much as us? No. But they still pay just as the rest of us.

I personally have no problem with hard working people who obey the laws try to better their family believe in education and have a strong belief in God. I live in an area with more illegals than you and I deal with them daily. While I agree we need to secure the border I recognize the importance of immigration and I do not want to stop it. As long as they are hard working and obey the laws I will not judge them.

Mikeya, I never usually have a problem with anything you post. However, I have to point out that your last sentence just makes no sense.

Speaking of "illegal" aliens, you say, " As long as they are hard working and obey the laws I will not judge them.
They disobeyed the law by entering the country illegally.

"We're all riding on the Hindenburg, no sense fighting over the window seats"-Richard Jenni

The so called founders' ancestors entered this country illegally, so lets throw out all their decendants also.

When the founders ancestors entered what is now, this country, it wasn't a country, so there were no immigration laws.
BTW, the people called Native Americans are believed to have traveled here via the Bering land bridge. So at one time NO ONE lived here. Our founders were the first ones to actually formally "start" a country.
Try again.

The Native Americans were already occupying North America. Whatever they called it and goverened it constitutes a country. It's obvious that Europeans didn't want to respect the the Native Americans so they could steal the land and resources. Your arguement at one time no one occuppied North America is weak. At one time no one occupied Europe either.

Actually, the Native Americans didn't believe that the land "belonged" to any man, but rather that man belonged to the land.

"We're all riding on the Hindenburg, no sense fighting over the window seats"-Richard Jenni

They believed they were part of the land, hence they and the land were a country that ended up ravaged by greedy illegal aliens who brought their beliefs of conquests from Europe.

I will follow your lead ZC.

When will you be turning your land over to what remains of the Ottawa and Miami Indians?

If you own it today you are still raping them of their land. After you turn over yours I will turn over mine.

MikeyA

I will turn my land over to them Monday.

That's an easy promise to make for your class of person, since you don't own any land.

Liberals are ever eager to transfer wealth that they don't own. That's a core practice of Liberalism.

And you Liberals still wonder why you're hated?

Zey said> It's obvious that Europeans didn't want to respect the the Native Americans so they could steal the land and resources

This is easy Zey anyone can play moron trivia, African Americans are stealing shipping vessels and retaining them for ransom..

Children don't inherit the crimes of their fathers. Want to open up that can of worms? You won't like where they squirm to.

in November 2014 are:

1) The prez's words "If you like your policy and your doctor, you can KEEP your policy and your doctor"

2) Ohhhh (forehead smack) - the only ones benefitting from the ACA are those getting it for free - (including deadbeat 20-somethings under the age of 26) - OH and Mexican illegals. The rest of the working-age public will be paying through the nose.

3) Ohhhh... this was about insurance price gouging and destroying the American middle class - it was never about health care.

AND THEN THEY WILL VOTE.

And there is NOTHING the Dems can do about it. The public will NOT forget between now and 2014. They will NOT forget!

1. The acknowledgement by the majority of Americans that the "market" can not solve all problems.
2. The death of the patently un-American and anti-christian term "pre-existing condition."
3. Watching our government struggle, because governing is hard to do, to provide something of value for the poor, the old and the infirm; instead of watching our government struggle, because governing is hard to do, to invade sovereign nations, bail out corrupt bankers and provide massive, middle class taxpayer subsidized payouts to big Pharma, big Oil and big Ag.
4. I also enjoy watching you so called Christian patriots spew your hatred for this great country.

A question about "pre existing conditions".
I assume from your comments that you think people with pre existing conditions should pay no more than anyone else? Regardless of how that would impact the insurance business?

Then, I wonder, let's say I wreck my car about every other week. You on the other hand have never made a claim against your insurance policy. Should we pay the same for insurance?

"We're all riding on the Hindenburg, no sense fighting over the window seats"-Richard Jenni

Yes on your first question - I say everyone in the pool.
No on your second. I shudder to think that you think this is a good analogy. The 3 year old born with kidney disease and your spectacularly poor driving are not really the same thing; are they?

The question of who should pay more for insurance is not up to you or me. It's up to math, hence the actuaries.

The silliness out there is breathtaking. I heard a supposedly knowledgeable friend espouse that Obamacare stops insurers from playing the same "that's not covered" games. Absurd. That we have deductibles and splits and co-pays, shows the same system of denying coverage is still in place. The insurers have committed extensive fraud as it is, by denying coverage all along for what's clearly covered under the language in the insurance policy. They deny and deny and deny, purely to control costs. How on earth does Obamacare change that? Does the law tell insurers to NOT control their costs?

People just can't believe this legislation is really this bad. But it's in the top ten of bad legislation in all of American history, right up there with the Sedition Acts and Executive Order 9066. And we told you people as much, back in 2009.

My favorite part of Obama Care is that it doesn't affect one bit.
