What if Zimmerman hadn’t got the shot off after pulling his gun?

What if Zimmerman hadn’t got the shot off after pulling his gun?

If instead George Zimmerman had been killed on the sidewalk with his gun out at his side, would Trayvon have been able to claim self defense? What would have kept Martin from claiming he had to struggle for his life because Zimmerman had followed him and pulled a gun?

What if Al and Jesse hadn't brought their race circus to town?

What if Obama hadn't said, "if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon"?

What if Holder hadn't sent the DOJ Community Relations Service to Sanford to assist in setting up the circus?

What if the willing, lapdog media weren't so eager to service the individuals above like a five-dollar hooker?

You would have never known who Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman ever were. Just like you don't have any idea how many or who the other black 17 year olds that have been shot since Trayvon.

Go back to bed.

Counting Thursday through Sunday, Chicago proudly experienced 70 casualties over the July 4th holiday period. Many of those were Black. Nobody cares about those, since it was largely Blacks shooting Blacks.

The real travesty there is that they need to aim better, but don't.

Exactly 1000% Home Run, Touchdown, Goal, 3 point shot clock bucket. Score, Knockout...And your statement defines the publicity of this case... A chance to further divide to keep a political power in office... Here it is again so you don't get lost>

Martin may as well have claimed self defense. The facts would have been reviewed. Martin's character would have been reviewed, also, and found wanting. But I believe that ultimately, a fairly chosen jury would have found Martin's claim specious, hence making him liable for manslaughter due to the fatal results from the struggle.

Note this is entirely unlike Zimmerman's claim. Review the facts. Review Zimmerman's character (which is not found wanting). And a fairly chosen jury found him not guilty of second degree murder. And even manslaughter would have been tough to find him guilty on, for the same reasons.

Liberals really can't stand the truth of all this, here. Trayvon Martin really was just a thug. He got what he deserved once he forced Zimmerman to defend himself. All self defense has lethal potential. It's foolish in the extreme to force a person to defend himself.

It depends on the story Martin would have fed the police, and that's presuming that Martin would have been caught somehow. Think: You're a cop and you're sent to investigate a brawl, a real first class affair. You're first on the scene. You find a black teenager in Act Two, Scene One of Tyrone Theater and a middle aged beaner on the sidewalk who is trying to reach ambient temperature. Between "Damn!" and "Mothah-FUCK!!!" you gather the fat, ofay cracker on the sidewalk waylaid, confronted and tried to kill this poor teenager who was on his way to choir practice.

How so?

Ofay be strapped, try to bus' a few caps wid hiz NINE iz how so. I be not guilty!

And so, by George, you check the body and sure enough you find a 9mm DAO Kel-Tec, one round up the pipe. Huh. And there are no witnesses who saw anything, and the beaner ain't talking. Well, you don't speak Mexican anyway.

By the time you get the circus to calm the fuck down so you can think, you discover that:
The teenager was NOT on his way to choir practice. He was coming home from the 7/11 and has the junk food to prove it.
The beaner was some kind of cop wanna-be, local watchdog group commander and was on the phone with dispatch when the whole business went down.
The gat has the beaner's prints all over it.
The kid tells you the beaner confronted him, tried to prone him out, threatened to shoot him, threatened to kill him and called him politically incorrect names.
The kid jumped the beaner and here's the results.

The upshot? This kid walks and block watch groups all over the place get a black eye, along with CCW holders. In three days everyone except the participants have forgotten about the entire business - until the civil suit hits the Martin family.

Which is really, really dumb because the Martin family has no money nor is ever likely to have any, but go figure, right?

You got that right. All Martin had to do was run away, but that wouldn't have been nearly as much fun as turning Zimmerman into a brain damaged Latino on disability. This whole thing never should have gone to trial.

Let me see if I’m getting you right. There would be nothing in the law keeping Martin from claiming self defense, but he would eventually be convicted because of his character, since he was "just a thug". Is this what you are saying?

Not really nothing, but again it wouldn't make sense. People who are going to attack individuals outright don't call the police to report the person first.

Yes, it's chancey, but it's my estimation of the trial process.

After all, Zimmerman's character was dragged back and forth in that 'trial' like a piece of barbed wire through your nostrils. The state tried its DAMNEDEST to convict Zimmerman for defending himself. (The state is still trying that; ref. Sen. Reid's recent comments.) And so one can only logically conclude that the same rule-of-prosecution would apply to Martin should he have turned out to be the survivor of the altercation.

Not that I actually believe Mr. "NO_LIMIT_NIGGA" (Trayvon Martin's thug handle on Twitter) could have come up with a consistent story to the police. So this is how it is: Martin was a thug who had to end up in jail or the grave eventually. Zimmerman was a citizen doing what's right and legal.

Just in case you still have questions about what we're talking about: We're not going to let Liberalism turn the United States into a shithole like Zimbabwe. Just get that out of your fucking mind right now. If we have to do that violently, then we'll make piles of bodies over it. I don't care who ends up in those piles.

If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, the world would never go hungry.

What I think happened.

I believe almost everything Chantal had said. But one thing didn't make sense to me. Why would she not go to the funeral of her friend, why would she not talk to the family. She said she felt "guilty". What did she feel guilty about?

What I think happened was during her conversation with Trayvon was he said something like "I'm going to beat this crackers' ass." and she encouraged him or when he was describing Zimmerman following him she told him to stop and beat his ass. That to me makes more sense and puts other parts of her story into better context. It explains why she would have heard the confrontation, the struggle, the phone falling on the grass but despite all that wouldn't have called the police.

Because I would hope that if I had a friend and I told them I was being followed and they heard a confrontation and struggle that they would call the police or at least come forward immediately and not hold some irrational guilt.

Of course I am speculating but to me that is much more rational than everything else that was put forward.

MikeyA

But how do you hear a phone hitting the grass???? Also, yes Trayvon circled back to confront Zimmerman. Some of us can say Zimmerman should not have gotten out of the truck, but that didn't cause Trayvon to get killed. In the end Trayvon had his own destiny in his own hands because of his decision to confront Zimmerman with violence... Many say its SAD that a 17 year old had to die like that, but what about all the other 14,15,16,and 17year olds that die by gunshots other ways????? This was a political agenda backed by Obama, Holder, and the media, they chose sides to further their political cause....Now how SAD is that.

Call the police? In some circles that is a big no-no, no matter what the circumstances. We'll never find out what her situation is. Besides, she seems prone to lying.
