Defenders of Paula Deen

Paula Deen's offspring come to her defense claiming she taught them Black History and they are fans of Hank Aaron. How deep is this hole going to get.

I hear about this and it reminds me of a story, Matthew 18:21-35.
How can I, a sinner, ever hold someone to a higher standard than God?
One thing I know for certain is that ever eye that sees this is also a sinner that needs forgiveness.
We look for sin in others but are unwilling to offer a remedy.

There are also penalties to pay for misdeeds. When Euro's do misdeeds many people say let's forgive them and move on. When minorities do misdeeds it is held against them forever. In my opinion Paula Deen desrves what's she's getting. She's out there on the public stage and there are Food Network standards she violated. If she wants to continue this type of behavior she has a right to continue. Maybe the Nazi Channel will broadcast her show.

... when will Bill Maher and Al Sharpton be apologizing? (Anytime soon?) Sharpton called Mayor Dinkins WHAT kind of (n....r)? And perennially filth-mouthed Maher called Sarah Palin WHAT? I don't notice that either of them have paid any price for their over-the-top filthiness.

On this topic ZC, Larry Elder who IS African American - is right - and you are wrong.

When they become employed by the Food Channel and others who find their behavior unacceptable. If Paula Deen were an activist or political satatarist nobody would give a darn. It appears you want to make up the rules for the Food Channel, Walmart, etc. , Farmergirl. I used to work for a company who had a rule that your BMI had to be 24 or less. If it was greater than 24 you had one year to get your BMI below 24 or you would be terminated. After one year instituting this rule 41 employees were terminated because their BMI was greater than 24. Different organizations have different rules and standards. As long as those rules and standards don't break the law they can enforce them.

the subject and putting words in my mouth? Naaaah, don't think so.

I asked you a straight up question about Al Sharpton and Bill Maher, and you couldn't handle that. Soooo you told me that I was telling Walmart and Food Network what to do. OK smarty - SHOW ME where I did or said anything of the kind. You can't, because I didn't.

Further, I said that I thought Deen was immature, that I don't buy her stuff, etc. Could not CARE LESS who hires or fires who, if it doesn't affect me personally.

What I am saying to you (via that question) is WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO RECOGNIZE YOUR OWN HYPOCRISY on any moral issues? And calling anyone ANY bad name - IS a moral issue.

As long as YOU fail to denounce bad words (in Maher's case, absolute filth) from liberals you like - you do not have the moral standing to criticize liberals or anyone else who you do not like - Paula Deen, as it happens, being one of your fellow liberals, who voted for BO. At the end of the day, this whole situation is laughable, and actually IS cracking me up.

I bet Biden uses "the Paula Deen word" on a daily basis!

If he does and gets caught he should be removed from office.

Which one: "Butter" or "Obesity"?

There's a city full of walls you can post complaints at

Here is a picture of LBJ signing the Civil Rights Act of 1964

And here is what Democrat LBJ said about the Civil Rights Act of 1964

“I’ll have those ni*%$#s voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” —Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One -

“These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference.”—LBJ

You can find this in Ronald Kessler’s “Inside The White House”

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a

I never believed LBJ was a supporter of civil rightsl. The racist, Harry Truman, integrated the military. He was a member of the KKK. LBJ was a racist just like all the other American Presidents.

Paula Deen's problem is more than just a having a history of saying the "N" word thirty years ago. She also expressed with excitement how she liked Blacks in the role of slaves waiting on her and her Euro guest as though this was a time in history to be celebrated. She also allowed her business partners to allow Blacks to have their own seperate restroom. Most times evil cloaks itself in the appearance of good. Paula Deen's cloak is off.

I found it interesting watching CNN last night that there is discussion about the origin of the "N" word and which form is acceptable. I can answer that question. No form of the word is acceptable. According to the broadcast the word originated from the Spanish and the Portugese word Negroe and the Latin word Niger, meaning "Black". What they didn't say is that the Portugese started slavery in the America's and the word was synonomous with the word slave. Northern Euro's further evolved the "N" word by their blatant mispronounciation of the word Negroe. Looking up the word in Webster's Dictionary it means means, " A member of a dark skin race taken to be offensive". Another dictionary defines the "N" word as " An offensive word to label people as low standing or status - used to describe and de-humanize dark skinned people who originate from South of the Sahara."

What happens if someone tells another person "you're a Paula Deen" now?
