Radio Host Shills Gold

Tagged:

A nationally syndicated radio host is describing the situation in the United States as the Titanic sinking in order to sell gold coins for his advertisers. It seems that fear sells gold and this host is trying to scare people into buying gold because "he does". There is no mention of the fluctuating gold price of course just that he does and so should you. You can listen to it here.

Apparently other Liberal hosts also hawk gold to their listeners in return for advertising dollars and the influence of big money, Thom Hartmann among them.
I imagine the reaction from the people who listen to these two shows will be quick and similar to their reaction when hearing that Beck, and Limbaugh also endorse gold sellers.

Now I guess if you are going to buy gold you could do it from ITM which is who Schultz uses, they've been around since way back in 1995, or you could use Beck's suggestion of Goldline which was around 35 years before ITM. Or you could go local and buy from David Kay Jeweler in Temperance, Mi. In any case even Ed Schultz agrees with Fred LeFebvre that gold is a good investment.

I invest in metals myself. Not gold or silver, I'm into brass and lead.

I think Ed was referring to "gold rum." Now that's a subject he's an expert on.

He was one of the more vocal idiots that trashed Glenn Beck for hawking gold, too. I guess it's all about: "liberal see-liberal do".

It can't be that surprising to learn that broadcasters are beholden to their advertisers to the extent that it slants their reporting and topics. Get real, folks.
